The Vikings are going with Frerotte for the rest of the season.
Well, it can't get any worse.
(hey Jeff Garcia's agent, if you're reading this, call the Vikes! Please!!!)
They obviously think Gus gives them the best opportunity to win. I think that regardless of who's quarterback, frerotte or jackson, they both give you about the same chance to win. Frerotte has proven he is nothing but a back-up quarterback and not a very good one. Jackson gives you a possible upside because he is still constantly learning and it is possible for him to develop into something. I bet in a couple of weeks if not sooner Jackson will be back at the starting helm.

i wasn't gonna criticize mcnabb after his performance Monday night, but the Sports Guy really takes a shot at him today....
Of course, McNabb went into Super Bowl XXXIX Mode -- as my Philly friend Mike said later, "As good as he is, no real Iggs fan really believes he will get us there, [but] at least he didn't puke on the field" -- took a couple of bad sacks and couldn't get Philly across midfield. Game over.
ouch.

"Took a couple of bad sacks," what was D-Mac thinking? Why isn't he doing a better job protecting the quarter...oops, oh yeah, that's right, he is the quarterback.
Gotta love the press. After the Eagles pound the Steelers, they'll be kissing his ass again.
btw, I looooove the Vikes this week over the Panthers with the spread. Frerotte isn't spectacular, but he's a big improvement over Turdvaris. Vikes win big. Take it to the bank!

Yeah u have to kind of blame McNabb
HE DID fumble the handoff to Westbrook that lost them the game. U can play a brilliant game but McNabb seems to choke when the game is on the line. Puke Puke
Ok, guys, I am gonna play a big Teaser this week on a parlay and u guys tell me honeslty
Can u see Carolina losing by more than 17?
Tampa losing by more than 17?
Pittsburgh losing by more than 17?
Dallas losing by more than 10?
U can buy 14pts, put 100 bucks and win 50.
This seems like a surefire 50 bucks but I want to see what u guys think.

D, you've got some balls if you think the Vikes can put up that many points with Frerotte under center and a questionable Adrian Peterson...but they are 0-2. I expect a Vikings win, but I don't see more than 17, sorry.
Tampa losing by more than 17? Hmm, again, I see more of a defensive battle here. Low-scoring. No, TB should keep it closer than that.
I think the Eagles will win, but, by more than 17? I don't see that happening.
Cowboys losing by more than 10? Probably the best odds out of these 4 choices in my eyes. I still wouldn't bet that, but if you like it go for it.
btw...I have no idea what that gambling terminology means. I think that's a good thing.

HHAHAHA no im not crazy Axl4prez
I am taking those teams with that many pts
I have Carolina and 17pts which means Minnesota would have to win by more than 17 for me to lose.
So, For me to lose, it would be very shocking defeats.

I think what he's saying is he wins as long as the Panthers/Bucs/Steelers don't lose by more than 17, and Cowboys by 10. He's buying 14 points in each game to change the spreads. In other words instead of the Vikings being 3 point favorites, buying 14 points makes them 17 point favorite and he's taking the Panthers as the underdog.
D, those always look like good bets on paper, but it's tough to get all 4 to come through. Chances are one game will be a blowout. That's why it's gambling though. I think the Bears/Bucs line has gone down, it's like 1.5 now. I'd say that one has the most potential to not come through. Bears could possibly beat the Bucs by more than 2 TD's, as they're kind of banged up. Packers could possibly beat up the Cowboys too. I think taking the Packers straight up would be a good bet. At home on Sunday night? Not sure they're not getting disrespected being the home dog.
I don't bet though D, unless I'm in Vegas, so I'm no expert. My friends bet though and they always seem to get miss out on ONE game in teasers and parlays.

I dont see GB beating Dallas.
In these situations u have to look at competition also.
GB trailed detroit by 1 with 7 minutes to play last week. They only won what appeared to be by a lot due to Kitna throwing 2 pick 6's.
They also beat Minnesota who have no pass D or passing game.
With Dallas, If Philly can't stop Dallas, I don't see how GB can. Plus, Terrance Newman will be back and Rodgers will have to face 2 top corners plus the Dallas pass rush. Ryan Grant isnt 100 percent either.
I racked up in the NBA last season playing Teasers.
U just cant get greedy and u have to pick teams that have heart.
Never pick a team with low character and no heart cause they get blown out.
If Pitt loses it won be by more than 10
same with Carolina, TB.
Devin Hester isn't 100 percent and I can't see Chicago having enough Offense to beat someone that bad.
If Dallas lose, it will be by a FG or something.

Faldor makes a good point about the Bucs being a bit banged up...not to mention the Bears will be out for blood up against Griese.
If Big Ben gets thrown down and that shoulder separates, then yeah, they could get blown out. But...I wouldn't expect that to happen.
I'm like Faldor, I don't gamble...unless you count my fantasy league's fee of about $60. (less than $4/week, I can handle that)
IF I was a betting man, I'd bet purple this week. Vikes -3, and Ravens -2.

I picked 9 out of 10 games right

I put 20 bucks down on 15 teams
5 college 10 pro
I hit 14-15 and FUCKING NE showed that they are old and fucking shitty!
20 bucks would've won me 250!

Tom Brady is officially the greatest QB of all time.
without Brady, NE go from Undefeated SB contender to being the fucking Atlanta Falcons.\
speaking of shit teams. Did anyone see KC today?
I believe I could QB better than the dude they had. He was Pathetic! He made Matt Cassel look like Tom Brady.

The Patriots lose one game and you people go nuts..
Gotta love that senseless jealousy and haterism, but oh well, I guess the same Patriots when they had Tom Brady were trash when they lost to Miami 21-0 one year, this team always seems to have trouble with Miami and if anyone expected them not to have slip ups this year with Cassel in at QB then you obviously don't know football. The team is 2-1, i'm concerned with the defense yes, but i consider this game a hickup, they played exceptional the first two weeks and i expect them to get back to that play with a bye week next week and with Coach Bill using his knowledge of the game to get them back to where they need to be.
Patriots are still a lock for the playoffs, and anything can happen there, so if anyone thinks they are horrible after one friggin game.. and wants to compare them to a crap team like the Falcons.. well your just clearly a hater who needs to face reality and stop clinging to any little mistake the patriots make and acting like it's the end of the world for them.
Sorry, but it's just a lil pathetic
