It didn't do crap for me either. Furthermore, I can't stand Pop, Pop country, or what ever the hell she is, and artists that don't write their own music. She is credited with one song on her first album, and 4 on her second, along with a couple other songwriters ... probably from the label.

What does her songwriting credits have to do with her doing justice to 2 GNR songs??

You guys are jumping the gun on not giving her a chance... I couldn't tell you one of her songs... But she blew me away with her SINGING!!

I thought she did a decent job even though it was kinda weird watching her mostly standing in place singing PC.

The audience didn't seem into it either but that could've been the (false) perception because we're just watching a youtube.

From what I heard, PC got the biggest ovation of the night. Crowd on their feet screaming and singing along..

Well, since you asked, a good voice does not make an artist, it is the creative process. As someone has already wrote, I can't stand the "manufactured" crap that passes for artistic talent.

She is little different that a karaoke singer.

Wonder if NR will be on her next album?

I actually like it.  It definitely lacks that emotion only Axl can give a song, but its not bad for a cover.

She's already jinxed Tony Romo, don't let Axl be her next victim.

i think this thread was started to say that she was pretty good as singing GnR songs.

MOT, do you like american idol, or her song writing...........people that dismiss immediately are just as bad as those clowns that only listen to pop music and think rock and metal is for long haired, bearded fat men with nail polish....

She does an awesome job covering these songs in my unbiased opinion, good luck to her.

Very nice cover.  I like her voice and the way her band plays both songs.

Again a thread about her singing GNR... Nothing to do with anything else, other than the posted clip

I thought it was bloody horrible...I mean I am glad it was her choice of music to sing but I torn between sitting here and feeling sorry for her and being embarrassed for her. sorry, just my opinion

As a female, you probably just don't fully appreciate her hotness.  If you did, you'd agree that these sound pretty good  ok

sometimes i'm not sure why people love guns n'roses.

is it possible to love the band and feel attracted by this kind of product ?

do you people still know what is rock n'roll ?

or it's just a fucking entertainment for you, like watching a playball game

Yeah I think we still all know what rock n roll is  . . .  We're just not all one-dimensional, boring fucksticks like yourself.

Carrie actually puts on a great show - her songs are a bit more rocking than what some people might think. (Look for a song called "Flat On The Floor" from her new CD.)

I may have gotten in for free this time, but I'd actually be willing to go pay to see her again. It was a really fun, energetic show. Actually, it was more a "rock" show than I've seen some rock bands put on lately.
