Your "phony" characterization of Morrison is based soley on your opinion that his British accent is too thick for a British citizen who now resides in LA and that he's just a musician who frequently plays with real rockstars on a regular basis with a band (Camp Freddy) he is a founder member of?

He seems like a friendly guy that loves rock n roll.  Also he seems like a role player.  Adz, did you hang out with Billy and he say something mean to you?

A bit too broad of a generalization for me to take any kind of serious.

On a more educated note...

He's a guy who's made his way up through the ranks despite nearly 10 years of addiction issues that would have killed most.  Finally got a break in '01 and parlayed that gig into a successful career in multiple facets of the entertainment industry while never forgetting where he came from and those who helped him along the way.

Not exactly the qualities of the described "self righteous prick".

Yes, as in a "team" player.  He never seems to hog the spot lite and realizes when special guests are on and he backs off.  Just seems like a great band mate. What is next, Izzy Stradlin acts too cool?
