it is performed by sherel crowe in the film, but at the end credits, there is a Guns version, and it sounds like its live, or done for something like this

but says its performed by slash steven, duff, axl and izzy, so unless they have it wrong, then i guess its a live thing

does any one know what show it was from?

or any help on this? some bits have been edited in the song, but it still sounds cool  ok

yes the first half of it is a live version of the old GNR line-up playing it...midway through the song in the middle of the guitar solo it "morphs" into a studio version of the new line-up playing it in 1999....the "where do we go" part and on is Axl and the new line-up at some point in the late 90's...im assuming 99 because that is when Big Daddy came out....I am not sure who the players are on it though...its probably similiar to the "Oh My God" line up with Freese on drums and what not...I am actually curious now as to who the line-up was on the second half of "Sweet Child"...also it sounds to me like Axl overdubbed his vocals on the live portion of the song but im not sure.....anyone know anything about that?


on a side note....this is the only reason I saw Big Daddy in the theaters..I actually brought in a TAPE recorder and recorded the end credits....I wish I still had that tape....but i have the DVD now anyway... Smiley

Got the MP3 of it.
 I believe it was probably done around the time when Axl started talking about how he had the new band record a new never to be released
re-recording of APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION.

I know he can play fast. It must be his 'version' of the SCOM solo or whatever... I just dislike it. Not to mention his talent for bending everything out of tune.
