Sukie and Frank Costanza's Festivus Pole, will either of you be watching the Bristol race tonight?

Of course, I'm watching the Bristol race tonight!  What else do I have to do?    nervous

Seriously, though...I don't miss watching a race.  Or half ass watching it, anyway.  I've not missed watching one since I became a NASCAR fan 3 years ago.

I like the Ford drivers as much as some of the Chevy drivers.  It's not about manufacturer for me.  Now, my dad on the other hand loves Ford.  He hates Jeff Gordon with a passion and hopes he finishes last every week!

It's about to start.  My guy is starting way in the back.  Hope he doesn't get involved in an early wreck.  Other than that, I think he'll be o.k.  He's pretty good at Bristol.  He didn't look that bad during last practice.

Y'all have fun.  Keep your fingers crossed for Dale!  It's gone green so I'm off!

Well, at least Busch didn't win.  Busch is so pissed that someone raced the way that he races.   Roll Eyes  Seriously, he's bumped people.  He's wrecked people.  He's confronted people.  But when the shoe is on the other foot, it's a whole different story.  I'm listening to the post race show on nascar.com and Kyle always comes across as such an ass.  His immaturity is showing again.  To me, it just seems that he carries a chip on his shoulder.  I still can't stand him whether he's the best driver in NASCAR now or not.

Dale just never recovered from his first lap mistake.  The bright start to this season for him has lost it's shine.  I really thought that this would be the track where he started turning things around.  Oh well.

This race wasn't quite as good as Bristol before the repavement, but it wasn't as bad as the last one.

Hey!

I watched the race, and flew out to New York right afterwards pretty much!  Been dying to talk about the race.

Bristol blows nowadays.  Carl Edwards owns the night races there.

I like him even more now for doing what he did to Busch!  And since both are great at California, I expect to see them battle it out in person!  That will be good fun.

Fuck Kyle Busch.  Someone needs to wreck him just for the hell of it.

Junior Junior Junior....he easily had a top 5 car.

It was nice to see Carl not take any garbage from Kyle and totally spin him around like that after Kyle rubbed into him following the race.

Although, I wouldn't expect anymore retaliation from either of them now that they're both on probation. I don't think either one of them wants to get in trouble with NASCAR being how close they are to winning a championship. But......I could be wrong and the fireworks might just happen between those two.

Oh man, I haven't even checked out any of the news.

I just got back home and this is the first thing I did.  hihi

Eh, probation doesn't mean anything.

This is exactly what NASCAR needs, they better not fuck this up.

That's exactly what I was thinking too. But you know NASCAR and how like to to make the rules as they go.  Lips Sealed

I'll be watching the race tomorrow night, but really don't expect a whole lot of excitement.  I didn't watch any of the practices, so I don't even know who is fast.  I saw the qualifying results.  Dale is starting 18th, I think.

I'm a little confused about who is going to the race.  Archie Bunker's Chair and Frank Costanza's F. P. are the same person?  Or not?  Well, whoever is going to be there in person, HAVE FUN!!!  I hope to see a "report" when you get back!

I'm the same guy!

I was Garry for the longest time, then I got bored.

A brief summary of my usernames.

Garry
Larry
Eddie Van Halen's Tongue
Ted Danson's Private Jet
Archie Bunker's Chair
Frank Costanza's Festivus Pole

Yeah, the race is going to be boring.  Junior is going to finish a lap down and Busch and Edwards are going to kill each other.  OK, that part might be fun, but Fontana blows the big one.  I'm eagerly anticipating Richmond.

A full report will follow.  Heck, I still have to post my review of NY.

Lots of hot ladies at the race.  Unfortunately, we have laws in California against taking random pictures of half naked girls in public.  hihi

I took some pictures when I went, but I think we have a lot to discuss before I do so.

California was boring.  I kept praying to Axl for a quick end to the race.

Richmond was great.  Sure, Junior didn't win, but wrecking Kyle Busch really made my day.

If it comes down to Johnson/Edwards/Busch, I hope Johnson 3-peats.

These burgers set us back 30 bones.

My only form of entertainment during the race.

Junior in action!

Drew, you know where you can find the rest of 'em.  Wink

At least Kyle is in last place!

He's had three bad races in a row.

I think it's because I put a jinx on his car at Fontana!

When Junior started fading back after going from the bottom to the middle lane, I called the wreck.

Half a lap later, it was on.

Fucking lame.

Yeah, you can thank Carl Edwards for that one. He not only took out Dale Jr. but he also took out two of his teammates as well. I wonder how the meeting went this morning back at Rousch headquarters this morning.

I'm happy Tony Stewart finally got himself a win in the cup series at Talladega.

Yeah, I was glad to see him win after finishing second to Junior so many times.

Regan Smith had a chance to pass him on the outside in the trioval.  Menard would have gone with him.

Chalk it up as a rookie mistake.

This Chase blows.  JJ will join Cale Yarborough in the elite 3-peat club.

Would you rather Kyle Busch be running away with the Championship?  hihi
