I wasnt able to watch the race on Sunday. It seems I didn't miss anyhing. However, I dont see anything wrong in trying to attract a different audience for NASCAR. and I say it on personal Experience, as i didnt like it before but now I just look forward to every sunday to watch the race. What they could do is try to do it at a different track, or maybe a different country as it seems that the mexico track already ran its course... I cant wait for Talladega.

anybody has NASCAR08 in XBOX360?? I just bought it this week and found it F.... hard.. pretty cool though..

I don't see NASCAR growing international. Japan didn't do well for NASCAR several years ago, Mexico is fading now, and I doubt Canada will prove to be different. I think what should be done is give some of the old NASCAR tracks a Grand National race every year on a rotation basis.

Dale Jr. had a really good race all day in the grand national. But there at the end he went to pass Tony Stewart and no one went with him. Can you say, "Hung out to dry."  Sad

How about Montoya?

No, I'm not impressed by his second place finish.  I'm more impressed that he went below the yellow line to wreck Menard, and that he ALMOST caused a BIG wreck with Busch and McMurray.

MAAAN, what a race !!! It's one of the best races I ve seen so far.. from start to finish..

Montoya is showing why he is one of the best drivers out there, He stayed on the top 15 for most of the race, and the incident with Menard was isolated  and he showed that with the result. GO 42!!!. again awesome race, cant wait for Daytona in July. I ll be there..

just a little something to support my statement. \According to RacingOne:

Aaron's 499 Loop Data Leaders
Average Running Position: Denny Hamlin - 5.2
Fastest Early In a Run: Dale Earnhardt Jr. - 193.331 mph
Fastest Late In a Run: Michael Waltrip - 193.621 mph
Fastest Laps Run: Michael McDowell - 12
Fastest on Restarts: Kevin Harvick - 185.742 mph
Most Passes During Green Flag Conditions: Juan Pablo Montoya - 389
Laps In Top 15: Denny Hamlin - 180
Quality Passes: David Ragan - 243
Speed in Traffic: Dale Earnhardt Jr. - 193.205 mph

I love the Car of Tomorrow Today on the plate tracks!

My favorite thing about Sunday was watching two cars hook up and go 10 mph faster than a whole pack!

It was pretty cool to see two cars do that alone.

So close for Dale Jr. last night in Richmond. You could see how disappointed he was in his post race interview. He wanted it bad. Plus, it sucked that he went from a top 5 finish to barely finishing in the top 15.

Even though I like Hamlin because he's a Guns N' Roses and especially an Axl Rose fan, he brought out that caution deliberately so his teammate GAYle Busch can get caught up to have another run at Junior.  Junior had checked out on the field.  Why didn't NASCAR throw the black flag at Hamlin?  He obviously had a problem and was stacking up the field.

What really bugs me is that Junior doesn't have the fire and hunger his dad had.  If I were driving the 88, I would have taken out GAYle during the caution laps.  If I can't win, he can't win either.  And his attitude during the post-race press conference was sickening. (GAYle's)  As was Junior, who looked like he was gonna cry.  His daddy would have beat him up after the race.

Good for Bowyer though, he was in the right place and the right time and he deserved the win.

(What was up with Michael Waltrip fucking Mears in the ass like that?  There have been rumors in the garage area about his sexual preference, but that was just weird!  nervous)

I was kind of surprised Kyle went for it so hard. To me, Kyle clearly had the faster car and there were plenty of laps left for him to get around Dale Jr. I don't think Dale Jr. could have held off Kyle from passing with that many laps still left. It was inevitable Kyle would pass Dale Jr. I just wish it wouldn't have caused Dale Jr. to crash and lose that many spots.

After Dale Jr. was wrecked, I was happy to see a Chevrolet and Clint Bowyer go to victory lane.

In the end, it looked like Kyle backed off and didn't charge Clint Bowyer the way he did Dale Jr. I have a feeling he backed off on purpose. Cause if Kyle would have won that race, there could have possibly been a huge riot. Especially, after wrecking Dale Jr.

I've been having a run of hardcore shitty picks, lol.

The All-Star race this weekend should be a great race to watch, with no points on the line everyone's gonna be going all out. I really hope someone puts Kyle in the wall. Hard.

Biffle blew up on me!  Same thing happened to me with Newman a few weeks back.

One guy always has to ruin my points day.  hihi

I really like the idea of the burnout contest before the race.  Al Gore must be going nuts!
