Yes....FINALLY!  Grin

He's been running so well week after week. It's great!

I really hope he's able to win at least a few more races this year. Daytona next month and Talladega in October would be very cool wins!  ok

He just had to get this one out of the way.

He will string along a BUNCH of wins for sure.

I really hope so.

I definitely want to see that very cool #88 National Guard paint scheme in victory lane now.  ok

I used to love the Amp colors, but the National guard scheme has really grown on me.

The Hendrick shop cranks out some sweet looking cars.

The DuPont Chevy (from 2001 on) has had the sickest paint job of all time!

Do you remember the #8 white Budweiser paint scheme for the Daytona 400 Dale Jr. won in July 2001? I l always liked it and thought it was pretty cool.

With the sexy doughnut on the side.  Cool

That was the first time I saw him win, as I became a fan after Senior's accident.

Two and a half hours until the green flag flies at Daytona for the Firecracker 400!

This race is in my top 5 as far as favorite races go.

Oh, here is a paint scheme that truly defines what Daytona is all about.

I love the Daytona night race in July every year. I even think I enjoy it more than the Daytona 500. There's just something about racing under the lights at Daytona that is so exciting!

Go Dale Jr.!!!!  ok

Junior always fades at the end of these plate races.

I'm befuddled.

Christ, I hope I used that word in the right context.

And once again....darn that Kyle Busch!

Your absolutely correct. He led all those laps and dominated most of the race. And at the end those pesky Ford's show up and Kyle Busch wins.  rant

Hopefully Dale Jr. will win Talladega in October. But you can bet Kyle will be up there battling for the win.

What do you think about the July/Daytona race vs. the February/Daytona race? Which do you enjoy more? I'm pretty much a fan more of the July race now without a doubt. It's those lights and the race being on a holiday weekend Saturday night that makes it so much better to me.

Definitely the night race.

The 500 miler gets boring between the 2nd pit stop and the last 100 miles.

In the 400 miler, you have exciting racing the whole way through!

AND...with the late start time to the 500, they finish under the lights.  I see that as a sign of weakness, imitation that is.

Also, there is a lot of pressure that comes with watching the 500.  Lips Sealed

You hit it right on when you said the Daytona 500 imitating the 400. It's ridiculous in the first place to start the Daytona 500 so late in the day. And it's pretty weak to have it finish under the lights.

What's the pressure with watching the 500 though?  Undecided
