Hey!, I had no idea that their working relationship was so close. Well there you go.

The archives must, surely, be packed to the rafters. Forget Chinese Democracy!, it's the deluxe four disc edition down the line that I'm looking forward to most!

I'd be excited about that too. But from what I remember in past interviews with Billy and Maynard, Billy took most of the stuff he and Axl worked on together and put it on APC's first album. I hear that was where the anomosity between Axl and Maynard really stems from, not Maynard's bragging about stealing/freeing Billy and Axl wanting to keep Billy from forming his own band. I never believed that, especially how fondly Billy and Josh Freese speak about Axl.

billy never wrote anything.. he was just an enginneer...
most of mer de noms was written in 1996
he was in the gnr camp around 98-99
