Not overly enthused with any of them.
Maybe Kiss for the laugh and Motorhead.
Think im going to Rock Am Ring this year, or another European event.
Anyone know where RATM are playing on the continent?
Festival wise.

haha glam really does have a strong market in sweden these days.
I should think practically most bands such as RATT , poison, slaughter will have some packed gigs out there.

Showing your ignorance now Jarmo, i thought you were a bit more open minded than that.
Skid Row is much rawer, heavier and more technical than Crazy Lixx, they barely sound similar at all, the closest would be skid rows first album but even then its still a different type of riff playing and song composition.
Dont judge unless youve listened to the album Jarmo.

They played a song and it reminded me of Monkey Business.....
And maybe something else.
It didn't exactly make me wanna go and listen to their album.

Not bowled over by the line-up so far, but might go anyway - beauty of festivals is that chance to be surprised by a band you've never seen before/know nothing about or just happen upon as you're wandering around. There is no part of me that wants to see Kiss though! Wonder if Alice Cooper might be on the line-up as well?
Pretty sure that RATM will be playing at Reading/Leeds, Arron. headlining sunday or friday i think.

ok thats fair enough.
but just ask yourself, would you rather see some rock bands on your TV playing live, or would you like to see what we UK residents get to see

Lets just hope that Motorhead play the 2nd Stage, and are as loud as Orange Goblin.
And yes i saw the Sweden Line up, which got me thinking surely they wouldnt come all the way to Europe for one festival, so maybe they will play a couple more, im sure they could be room at Download.

They did a few years ago when I saw them there and after every song
Lemmy
got the sound guys to make it louder
On the plus side
System of a Down
were on the Main Stage so most peole were there so it was easy to get right to the front
In a perfect world
KISS
would play the 2nd stage to

Download is looking more bollocks than ever. In 2006 they had Tool, Metallica nd GN'R. Compare that to this year and you'll see what I mean. 2006 was a dream lineup of headliners.
