I'm a llama!

« on: January 27, 2008, 05:16:12 PM »

I love this song. It's simple and got great chorus. I wonder if anyone got any info on this song? Did they only play this song once, was it just a jam? Can someone clear up the audio on this song so you can hear the vocals in the verse? I couldn't find any threads about this song, I am just curious.

Is this the correct lyrics?

I was hoping to see a thread about this song. I like this song. I believe it's the only song available from this show (I think). To me it sounds like a Jam except with lyrics. The lyrics are hard to make out sometimes. Axl sounded good even back then.
I say those lyrics are right on. The ones that say "? ? ?" are the ones I can't make out either. Except at the end during the chours He sings:

Indiana Ain't my kinda Town
Well I drove for miles,
But I cant find My way around.
"? ? ?" Just  Ain't my kinda Town
Well I drove for miles
But I can't find my way around

I never could figure out what He's saying there.

It was a jam recorded live at the Troubadour on 11-20-1985. Not much was known about the song, but in Marc Canter's Reckless Road he describes the performance of the song.  It was just a one time thing.

would anyone mind "cleaning up" the audio?... people have done an awesome job with some of the 02-07 boots...  i'm sure some could really improve the quality of some of these old forgotten gems.
