when does this festival take place?

It's the UK August bank holiday weekend, which usually falls on 25/26/27th - ish of August and bands play over three days (fri/sat/sun) - all alternating between Reading (the original festival) and Leeds (new-er site and where GnR played in 2002).

Think Kiss are more likely for Download this year. The organisers of Reading are big RATM fans though and apparently the band love playing there, so am thinking Rage are a near certainty. Unsure about GnR there this year to be honest - but god I'd be there in a shot if they did!
