So then are you confirming that "record company bullshit" is what's delaying the album?

That's my guess. Here's why I think so:

Recording is done + Baz saying it's done and amazing + Richard's comment in that e-mail + Eddie Trunk's comments....

Add to that my personal belief that if it was just up to the band or Axl himself, it would've been out already.

I don't think for a second that he set that tentative date for fun.

As for looking for secret messages, I missed the 6 sources that confirmed the buisness drag. I only saw the supposed Richard email, lately I have been losing intrest in CD threads so I've been here less and less. I want cd as much as ever, but until there's real news I'll only drop in once and a while.

If GN'R hadn't toured in 2007, you'd be saying "why didn't they at least play some shows because the album didn't come out!"...



I don't know about you, but I'm glad they toured in 2006 and 2007, even without the album out.

Bands tour, write songs, record songs and deal with record company bullshit. I'm glad the last one didn't stop them from touring.

Are you serious?  I attended at least one show everytime they have toured. I LOVE WHEN THEY TOUR!!!  I was just stating the fact that its ENTIRELY possible that they will tour in support of NO album once again.

I'm not trying to state the obvious but it's just not going to happen.  They might never come back to Philly.  My one little tiny piece of GN'R inside information: there are still lawsuits flying around from 2002.  Someone I know participated as a witness in some of the cases that involved the riots.  Unfortunately Axl's still not a very popular guy in Philly...

But I agree with you.  I live in South Jersey so I'm down for a Philly show.
