The Donna's?
Donnas are great!
And Backyard Babies too, if you like Hanoi Rocks.

As was mentioned, Shotgun Messiah
And one of my personal faves, although far less glam than goth rock (thought Von would deny that tag, too), The Sisters of Mercy

Bollocks. You'd thinking owning Second Coming, Violent New Breed, and Skold's solo album would help me out when I go and do something like that
Oh well, you gotta admit he looks like Tim Tim there.

Only bits and pieces of what I've downloaded online. I started to get into Tim Skold when his solo album came out and then into KMFDM, so I went back and snatched up his work with Shotgun Messiah, but I really only ever bothered with the band with him as frontman. Even though there's still a drastic departure from Second Coming to Violent New Breed, I like both albums as being excellent work in their respective genres (glam metal and industrial metal). Anyway, first album, should I seek it out?

yup because you get to hear tim play some great fucking basslines as most the time on the album, not all the time, but msot he uses a 6 string bass n plays some awesome stuff, plus the guitarist is really let loose on this album.
Its a good fun album of melodic glam metal with a touch of punk attitude (probably from tim)
Tim also...raps on this album, beastie boys style XD

Cool...
thanks for the suggestions. Anything else? I like those bands that people relaly don't know about that have players in them that are good.
Like the Neurotic Outsiders, ADler's Appeitite, Army of One
What was that one supergroup about? The one on VH1 didn't they put a album out?
Any suggestions of bands that peopel have forgotten about I would like to know... All of the major stuff I know.

Uriah Heep, Nazareth, Hanoi Rocks.
OH...and anyone who hasn't checked out the last two albums from Motorhead ("Inferno" and "Kiss of Death") needs to do so. Later Motorhead is bluesier and with more groove than early Motorhead.
"In the Name of Tragedy" is awesome. "Shake Your Blood" from the Probot album is insane as well. If you haven't heard the Probot album I recommend that. Dave Grohl got all the music right for all the bands he tried to cover and all those singers need no hype. They're all legends.
