^ Indeed, I also felt it didnt work that much, it was just a cheap shot.

The Guns 'N' Roses tribute band I play in got the "Colbert Bump" last night on The Late Show. Haha.
He also made fun of GNR and ticketmaster a bunch.
Check it out. And feel free to use your free ticket master voucher to see Appetite at Gramercy Theater NYC Aug 12.

But I do think it's nice that you took it light hearted. And I heard your band is awesome.

Just watched the first ep of a new show called "dead of Summer" on Freeform (formerly abc family). At the end of the show.....which is set in 1989...they play an extended cut of "patience"....basically most of the song. Pretty cool to hear it!!

awesome use of paradise city, seems like they used only the vocal tracks in certain places, and axl's voice sounds flawless !!!

It sounds amazing, is this all the original vocal track from Appetite or from the re-recorded Appetite... Interesting

Sounds like it although some of the backup vocals sound suspicious

Indeed. I was wondering how is this possible: I mean, they can use the song if the band authorized, of course, but are they free to remix it like they did without the band's consent?

They probably got the permission/license to use the master tracks.
Maybe (I don't know) the final product of the trailer and use of the tracks was subject to approval by the band before release.

If that's the case, then having various channels of the final track isn't beyond possibilities either, shame it wasn't something new though

Last week on Smackdown, they did one, too. A specific Axl rose mention.
I wonder if WWE has something planned with them. They pretty much feature a "song" every PPV, many of them from major acts. I can't remember an act getting this much mention who was NOT doing something with them.

Rugby is at the Olympics for the first time ever and WTTJ is played as the teams in the final come out
There simply isn't a sporting event on the planet where it isn't played.

Great film, Thiago. Don't normally like any covers of Sweet Child but that one gave me goosebumps, it was brilliant.

Cool to hear some of Paradise acapella, but what a weird use of the song in that trailer. Didn't fit whatsoever.
