Dave Mustaine said they wrote 'Crush 'Em' as a favor to some Phoenix Coyotes players who said if they had to hear WTTJ one more time, they were going to kill themselves.
The funny thing is...
The only one that cares about what a Phoenix Coyote player thinks is Dave Mustaine...
I think if TheBaconman call up Dave and asked him to write him a little jingle he probably would.
Hahahaha
I actually sort of like that tune, but can see why most Megadeth fans were horrified by it.

NRK HAR IKKE RETTIGHETER TIL ? VISE DETTE PROGRAMMET UTENFOR NORGE
Yeah, I know how this could be circumvented but can't be bothered. This is just so fucked up why can't we see a little cool Guns clip.
How much oil and cod money would Norway lose if they let us see this but that's another story for The Jungle

Sienna Miller interview on the Tonight Show where she mentions a night when she was supposed to attend a GNR concert.
Jimmy Fallon was as well, but he says they didn't come on until 1am. They didn't attend the concert, but Jimmy mentions he heard "they crushed it that night".

Animal Planet on Sky are having an Episode of "Tanked" called Tanked n Roses where former Gnr member DJ Ashba is having a skull themed aquarium done by Brett and Wade - Starts 20:00 GMT
edit ' Its pretty cool actually, just seen the signed CD record in the frame signed by Axl, seems like a pretty decent guy too.

About few days ago, I was watching a movie called Shark Night 3D (from 2011), and at near the end of the movie, there's a scene where Sheriff Sabin has this Nick guy at some boat house. He's messing with Nick and he asks him what he'd like him to play for his last song, before he throws him in to lake with Tiger sharks. Nick requests Guns & Roses!

New Zealand's biggest newspaper the Herald has a weekly travel insert. The headline of this week's editorial is: "Where do we go now, sweet child o'mine?"

Watched The Big Short film (up for a few Oscars) over the weekend - Sweet Child is used in the Vegas scene
Interesting soundtrack, also Neil Young and Zeppelin - thats some hard work right there to get use of those..

Ok, I know this is not the correct thread for this and I didn't want to create a new one as there isn't much to discuss. This was the nearest thing; this isn't a reference in movies or tv but a Guns N Roses reference I just happened to find on the internet just now; a news item.

What the....? Great little reference to GN'R though.

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but the movie BIG MIRACLE starring Drew Barrymore.
Appetite for Destruction
is presented to someone to listen to, and a kid says Axl's voice sounds like one of the whales they are trying to rescue in the movie.

On yesterdays Shameless on showtime... some woman dying of cancer tells Frank the main character she once had a threesome with two members of GNR...and it would have been more but Axl couldn't get it up.
I laughed.

I saw that too. I thought it was pretty lame. The character was trying to shock Frank Gallagher. The lame Axl comment makes me think the writer was a former groupie who didn't get chosen. SHAMELESS is usually a pretty good show. Was very disappointed at that little jab at Axl.
