On an old Beavis and Butt Head episode entitled "Bride of Butt Head", there is a dream sequence where Butt Head walks down the aisle with his new wife.  Slash is standing at the altar a la the "November Rain" video.  It's brief but an amusing in-joke for those fast enough to catch it.

"Take Me Home Tonight" with Topher Grace.

There's a big stand of Appetite for Destruction in the opening scene, the movie is set in the 80's... I really liked the movie btw...

Just checked the DVR and found the first showing of Storage Hunters on TRU tv. A couple hit the gnr jackpot. They got several old awards, contracts signed by Axl as Wlliam Bailey and misc. items. Sweet.

During the ESPN  broadcast of Nathan's Hot dog eating contest, they discussed the eating techniques used (courtesy of Pete ?Pretty Boy? Davekos). One of them was:

Buns and roses: When you move side to side and sway to get the food to go down into your stomach.

Finally was able to see it.  Gotta say though that a lot of that show seems like BS.  I believe the "bins" (i.e., storage units) are real enough, though not so sure about the one that exploded when they opened it.  I think the couple that one the GNR bin are legit but I think that Jesse (the guy that he got in a fight with on a previous episode) and Bear are bogus.  I think everyone else standing around are extras.  Plus I love that the woman criticized Jesse for bidding on a bin cause he thought stuff was valuable and then she finds the framed Appetite rape cover and thinks there's only two in the world.  And on top of all that it was a 2nd issue too!  But still cool though.

I watched that, the show looks so contrived it's ridiculous.

They apparently gloss over all the files with paperwork in but happen to look at the one document that is signed by William Bailey. (I bet they originally didn't even know who he was)

"I bet there's only like two of these and I have one of them".  lol  yeah there are only 2 copies of the banned AFD artwork in circulation.

Those other bidders for the storage units don't look real either, if they were you would see heaps of people there bidding.  I have no doubt these people buy the whole storage units contents but it probably happens formally and in an orderly manner somehwere off site and this whole auction thing and opening it up is ccompletely staged. That's what it looked like to me anyhow.

Its all for show. I am sure they spend a lot of time going threw and just show us the goods. As for Axls sig. I remember they said the first contracts he did sign that way. Changed his name shortly after, if I remember right. Not sure why he had all of Slash's awards.
As for the little bomb thing. I know it seems crazy but I know people that would pull that.

I was checking the guide today and saw a documentary, "Queen: The Days Of Our Lives" was on and it was narrated by Axl Rose.  I caught it about 10 minutes in and have watched about half of it and haven't seen or heard from Axl yet.  Maybe I missed him in the beginning?  Maybe he'll reappear at the end.  Anybody seen this before?  It's pretty good so far, despite the absence of Axl.

I ended up watching the rest of the documentary and there was no sign of Axl narrating.  They did show a short clip of he and Elton John performing at the Freddy Mercury tribute.  But aside from that, there was nothing.  I'm guessing he must've been on at the beginning, which I missed.  Just seems odd that they go out of their way to list him in the program credits as narrator and he's hardly in it, if at all.

Their crafty ways worked though, they suckered me into watching it.  It was good too, so I'm glad I watched it.  I was just waiting to hear from Axl and it never happened.  Strange.

Okay, I just checked youtube and Axl is indeed in the opening minutes of the doc.  Mystery solved.  He comes on at the 2:15 mark or so.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRYb-YZa_aE

Edit - I'm still a little confused.  This is NOT the same documentary I watched today.  I mean, it's basically the same story, and it's of the same name and description.  But THIS documentary says it was made in 1991, the one I saw today was made in 2004 and had no Axl narrating.  Maybe they updated it or something?  I no for sure that Roy Thomas Baker certainly looked at least 13 years older than he does in that youtube clip.  The mystery continues.

Anyway, the link provided does contain Axl's narration, so that's all that really matters I guess.

I'm not 100% sure but I think they used the GNR version of LALD in the X-Factor promo (new Simon Cowell tv show) shown before the baseball All Star game on Fox.

In Asking Alexandria's new music video, "To The Stage", at one point two members of the band are playing on a Guns N' Roses pinball machine.

For some strange reason I think Axl may and GNR may make an appearance here on this new show this fall, maybe Im crazy, but to me it seems obvious Axl ok'd the use of the tune for the promo.

The new Jay-Z and Kanye collaboration album Watch the Throne has a tracked titled 'Welcome to the Jungle'.  Not sure whether is a cover or not.

Not a cover but Jay-Z does refer to himself as the "Black Axl Rose" in the song.

I just was having a look at Bruce Willis' history on IMDB and saw that his character's name in Charlie's Angels 2 was William Rose Bailey. This movie is a few years old now and this has probably been discussed but I have never noticed that ever.
Was it just a coincidence or did they mean to somewhat make refference to Axl?
