I got a e-mail from thankyou@etix.com, with confirmation code and got told that delivery method was will call..
that was pretty much it.
Is this the e-mail they send or will I get another one??

You'll get another one, within the week before the show, with instructions, etc.

As someone else has said it is all what you make it out to be. We did it once and it was a great time. There were only 6 people that purchased the meet and greet and we actually got to talk to the guys more than i would assume you normally do. I brought Loaded Episode 99 live for Duff to sign and the Neurotic Outsiders album. Duff was so stoked i actually purchased the live disk way back when off of his site we talked for a great deal of time , as i handed the NO cd to my wife to put in her purse, Duff took notice and asked if i wanted it signed. I thought that was really cool, he even passed it to Matt to sign aswell. Duff is by far the most down to Earth member in the band. Great guy.

This has really pissed me off, its ridiculous maybe its the first time in 17 years that I am a gnr fan of , of the 27 years i am alive that i can understand fully how fuckin commercialized they are.     Its a big fuckin machine, thats for sure , such ashame       

Sorry?  Selling records and making money keeps a band alive.  VR need to GUARANTEE that they're profiting from the touring etc, because they have a record label making sure of it.  They have commitments financially.  So of course they'll sell Meet and Greet.  LOADS of bands do it !   You are completely blind.

The tour hasnt got to do anything with the rec. label fyi and they would be profiting anyway will less than <enter a figure here> revenue from money which at the end wont make any difference to them. Just like to point out that I made no insults in the post you're referring to.  I implied that ESTRANGED was not educated to the financial reasons and should open her mind and realise that VR's meet and greet's are no different from most other bands.

My insults came in my next post to her reply ... which was FULL of insults directed at me.

Fact is ... while I'd not pay to Meet and Greet, I do not believe that there's anything bad about them.

Scott never goes people here said it to me and then the girl who does the meet and greats said it also.
No, you cant take pics but you will get a pic with the band that you will be given at a later date (try in find out where and when cause I was at one two weeks ago and dont know how to get mine)

The band are all preety cool as far as talkin to you goes, especially matt you could probably chat with him for hours...

Dont do what I did and just get shit signed, chat with them if a cat doesnt get your tongue like it did mine..

You should receive an e-mail in a couple wks or so, when your picture is ready.  It will tell you what site to go to, with instructions.  Actually, you can check at http://platinumphotos.signaturesnet.com.  User name velvetrevolver.  Password vrphoto.

Thanks, my friends da got the tixs so I never had any e-mail address, i was pretty much in the dark about it an my friends havent heard anythin yet...
But yeah thanks thats brilliant, although the march gigs arnt up yet at least I now know where to get them...
