Axl to me is better than Freddie Mercury.

No disrespect to Freddie but Axl has the better voice, I like his songs better and his onstage moves etc are better.

But if you think that Freddie Mercury is overrated, then he would have been overrated before he died as well...  Queen had a very long, established and successful running with Freddie Mercury.  It's not like his death is why he has a legacy!

I don't think Freddie is overrated. too melodramatic to my liking but he was a great vocalist nevertheless.

I mainly shared the opinions of that i liked axl's voice/persona/stage act better then freddie, axl will always be#1 to me.
 freddie might have been overrated while he was alive, that is alwasy relative and to each their own, freddie is a legend no doubt about that.. no one is trying to take that away from him or saying he's not, but death often glorifying when it comes to rockstars

GUys, dont u understand, we can make ppl see that hes one of the best singers in rock and has fans despite all the shit they say about him... Just go to the queen forum where they are all surprised that axl is so high, they said that they thought he was washed up, how does he have so many fans, another one said, he must have a large family thats voting for him, another one said idk what ppl see in axl rose.... furthermore these polls are issued out to magazines of music and the media when needed.. like now during the presidential races colleges take polls and then release them to cnn or whatever, the same holds true for any poll we have voted for axl in or guns.... for example, just like two months ago, a poll was released to the media that said guns n roses are the third highest band that ppl would like to see tour, just above them was pink floyd and number one followed by abba. but do u get my point how polls are used? SO VOTE. why cant u just do that every stinking day?

Im not saying Freddie isn't a legend but just imagine if Axl had died very tragically at the height of UYI's.  He is a legendary mythical figure of epic proportions now

Imagine if something very tragic had happend to him?

He is one of the best but had he died tragically he'd be untouchable because people have a way of putting tragic figures on a pedestal.  Its just human nature.
