There is nothing to back up this rumor. Sorry.

However, Brazil is a great country and the locals are very welcoming. You will enjoy your time there.

The member skyzo from the Voodoochild's board Perfect Crime, which I'm moderator, sent an e-mail to the columnist that said this show is going to happen, asking her more informations about it. Here's her reply:

Dear Wellington,
According verifications from the column, the show that Guns might play in Brazil this year is part of the tour of the band's new album. When it's about Guns N' Roses, as you know well, everything is possible. But the deal is going well. It's about a brazilian producer that lives in Los Angeles which has currently invested on shows around here.
Thanks.

The keyword in that 'article' is 'might'.

This isn't an article, this is just the e-mail that D?bora Bergamasco sent to skyzo as a reply for his question.

Anyways...

I'm not saying that I believe it's true, I just hope that this - a GN'R's concert in Brazil - happens soon.

The problem is: We know more about GNR than the press, any "journalist" can come up with these rumors. Brazilian sites are always posting stuff like "Pink Floyd will play in Brazil" or "AC/DC to play in Brazil at the end of the year" I know cause I see almost every week some shit like that. Where do they get their info? Mostly all the time from their own heads. Don't really see the point to post these type of rumors on an international forum  Huh

WTF are you talking about? There's some big bands playing here indeed and some of the rumors turned out to be true - The Police is an example. And there's rumors, but there's also credible media here. Your generalization is no more ignorant than saying all American (or any other country) sites always post gossip and bullshit - where the fuck do you think that whole reality show started?

This type of rumor may mean nothing for you because you can't just push your brain enough to start thinking, but there's actually some people who cares about the band they love and any action would indicate something.
