Singer Jon Bon Jovi has formed a special supergroup to celebrate the Labor Day holiday, comprising Billy Joel on piano, Jimmy Buffet on guitar and sir Paul McCartney and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters on vocals. The impromptu performance took place after a party Jon Bon Jovi threw on Sunday night (2Sep07) at his Long Island, New York home. The rock legends performed Bon Jovi and Beatles tunes, along with many of Joel's own songs.

It's official, the Lost Highway World Tour will kick off in Montr?al, Canada, @ the Bell Center on the 14th of November

They will be in Japan in January, then Europe during the summer 2008, and then back to the States for the final leg.

I'm going to see Bon Jovi next month and I'm not quite sure how to feel about that.  First off, I'm seeing Van Halen earlier that week and I'm psyched about that.  But it'd be an understatement to say I don't like the path Jon chose from the 90's onward, especially his latest venture deep into the heart of the country world.  And Gretchen Wilson is opening, again, not a fan of the country.  I think I'm seeing them about 15 years too late.  I hear they put on a good show though, so I'm sure it'll be fine.

i'm not saying its immature but the music is much different like listen to bad medicine and dry county its obvious which is more mature.

Bon Jovi world tour begins to take shape

Bon Jovi has announced the first round of dates for a mammoth tour that will take the veteran rockers to more than 10 countries around the world over the next half year.

"We're starting in New Jersey and then taking it to the world," lead singer Jon Bon Jovi told a packed house Thursday night (10/25) in Newark, NJ, according to a press release issued through the tour's promoters, AEG Live. The show marked the band's first date of a ten-night engagement inaugurating the city's brand new Prudential Center.

Including the nine remaining Newark shows, plans are currently in place for more than 40 concerts in the US, Canada and Japan, with additional shows expected in New Zealand, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Holland and Austria, according to promoters. Tickets for US shows go on sale to the public beginning Nov. 3; fans should check the band's website for additional ticket information.

Bon Jovi is touring behind "Lost Highway," its ninth album of original material, and first since 2005's platinum-selling "Have a Nice Day," which spawned the Grammy-winning duet "Who Says You Can't Go Home" with Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles.

Released in June, the album moved 292,000 copies in its first week on store shelves, debuting in the No. 1 position on the US album chart, marking the band's first chart-topping set since 1988's "New Jersey."
