Its time for Bon Jovi to finally get some fucking respect already:

1 Debut in Japan marks Bon Jovi?s 4th career #1 there ? breaking Beatles? record

#1 Debuts also on Billboard?s European Top 100, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Austria and Thailand

Clear Channel ?Stripped? live performance goes up on record-breaking 602 radio station websites ? sets new Clear Channel record

New ?Uplugged? series premieres with triple broadcast on MTV, VH1 and CMT

Ten Nights on Sale at 18,000-seat Newark arena, The Rock (Oct. 25 through Nov. 10) ? Bon Jovi?s ONLY tour dates of 2007

Biggest outdoor crowd in history of NBC?s Today Show Plaza in NYC? next tv appearance on Ellen (June 28-29th)

(June 27, 2007 ? New York, NY) All the anticipation in the world paid off last week for Island Records group Bon Jovi, as their new album LOST HIGHWAY (released June 19th) gave the band the first #1 U.S. debut of their career on the Billboard 200, on opening week sales of more than 291,000 copies ? their biggest-ever one-week sales total. LOST HIGHWAY also debuted #1 on Billboard?s Rock Albums chart, Billboard?s European Top 100 chart, in Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Thailand and Japan where Bon Jovi?s #1 chart debut gave them their 4th #1 career album ? breaking the record which they shared with the Beatles, of three #1?s.

Fuck yeah beat the White Stripes!!

Lost Highway is a great album

Only a few songs that sound real country.

my Lost Highway Review:

Lost Highway:
Great song, builds on Radio Saved my Life Tonight kinda vibe, Best lyrics Jon has wrote maybe ever, that song is an autobiography of my life. Great melody, chorus, music. Excellent song   8.5 out of 10

Summertime: This song is ok, nothing really special about it.  6.5 out of 10

Make A Memory: Nice love song, great melodies, simple but tells a good love story  8 out of 10

Whole Lot Of Leavin Goin On  This song is excellent, great music, great lyrics, I cant say enough great things about this song one of my favs ont he album 9 out of 10

We Got It Goin On: Gayest song I have ever heard. this shit fuckin sucks, Like Two Gay Guys wrestling in a pit of cheese. 2 out of 10

Any Other Day: Simply fantastic 10 out of 10  one of the best BJ songs in years. has great music, great lyrics nice message and is beautiful.

Seat Next To You: This is my fav ont he album and probably one of my fav BJ songs since the These Days album. its about the death of Richie's father and how one day in Heaven u save a seat next to you for the person u love. It is so beautiful and touching. Jon's voice is amazing on this one and the music is so melodic and gorgeous.  20 out of 10

Everybodys Broken  8 out of 10

Till We Aint Strangers anymore  9 out of 10  this will be a huge hit Great duet with Leann Rimes

The Last Night 8 out of 10

One Step Closer 9 out of 10

I Love this town: this song is like a sequel to Wild In The Streets it gets a big fat 10 out of 10.

This album is amazing, best album of 07 by far.

Once again they and the CHili Peppers are the only two of my fav bands that never seem to disappoint me. THey are always fantastic.

Damn, I have to listen to LH again more carefully, cuz I don't see waht's so great about it.  Undecided

I think there are 2 BJ eras:
the pre-These Days era and the post-TD era.

I miss the first one.  Sad

I haven't bought a Bon Jovi album in years, the last one I own is These Days which I thought was great. I still think they are more than capable of making a great hard rock album, but they don't seem to want to, so they've lost my interest.

I'd still go see them if they ever chose to tour Australia again and play their own shows and not some shitty 45 minute set at a Pop festival.

What a night ! Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah was also a great moment.

How the hell did they manage to have their biggest ever one week sales in this day and age?  I thought it was near impossible to sell records these days?  Jon has said so himself.  Great promotion I guess, and maybe that crappy American Idol is a promotional force.  Say it ain't so!  What's this world coming to?

Does the new Bon Jovi album sound country like the Young Guns 2 soundtrack, or does it sound like pop - Leann Rimes?

Real country music to me is Johnny Cash, not Leann Rimes.

It sounds like Bon Jovi mixed with Country.

It sounds nothing like Leann Rimes, not quite Johnny cash though.

It is definitely a good kind of country.

DL "Seat Next To You", Any Other Day and Whole Lot of Leavin.

Good point, I forgot about the country fans factor.  That and unfortunately American Idol.  Exposing your music to people who weren't THAT familiar with your work could drive sales numbers skyward I guess.  It's being proven.

One thing that really appeals to me about BJ is their amazing live ability.

They sound great every show.

The studio they were at in Spain probably weren't equipped for a rock n roll set up so they had to lip synch.
