Kind of. It was pretty bad. It just sounded like they tried to hard to reinvent something. It sounded too forced. It was kinda unplugged but it didn't sound natural like their last unplugged performance. They kinda re-did the songs in a slower, stripped down format.

John admitted on Larry King a little while back that This Left Feels Right was a bad idea and he will never do something like that again

^ Same opinion here MrLee.

Some reworked songs are good (You Give Love ... , Lay Your hands ... , Born To Be ... , Everyday, ... , Keep The Faith) But some songs should never be touched (Wanted, Prayer - the Prayer '94 version was amazing, in no way they could do better in terms of reworking, I'll Be There For You).

They did it in 40 days while on the road for the Bounce record, so it was a rush.

But I still think it was a brave move.

My thoughts on this are that, "Making A Memory" is one of those gem type of songs, which missed with me the first listen I must admit.

After hearing it out, the lyrics and the full thing a couple of times. I love it.

It is a gem because the song's first 30 seconds start out in like C+ format, but but the last 30 seconds of the song it's a hit single.

The song reinvents itself as its playing, very magical. It improves as it ends... I love that. I will definatley be getting this album...

Anyone watch AI last night? I hope Blake gets voted off... what a clown.

Have a Nice Day - vocals were pretty good - she didn't really own the stage but her voice was really good I thought. She hung the song quite well.

Livin' On a Prayer - she picked up a bit towards the end on the higher notes but the verses were AWFUL.

This Aint a Love Song - she alright considering she had never really heard the song and had only ever seen BJ on Oprah. Didn't really enjoy it as much as they jerked off over it.

Make a Memory is very average. Sounds like a These Days filler. Nothing memorable about it to make it a radio hit.

Although first listen.. some songs I've thought to be bollocks have turned out to be faves later.

He really did kinda make it his own. I don't know anything about these guys or the series but I admire the effort to go there. Jon did say people don't want the songs messed with.. that's what I felt when I listened to This Left Feels Right!

Bon Jovi has announced its first round of US dates to support its forthcoming album, "Lost Highway."

The band will start May 26, headlining the annual Tiger Jam concert in Las Vegas to benefit the Tiger Woods Foundation. July will find the rockers playing a host of festival gigs, including East Rutherford, NJ's massive Live Earth concert, which aims to bring attention to the climate crisis. Dates are included below.

Bon Jovi has also been tapped to open Newark, NJ's Prudential Center with multiple shows this fall, though the specific dates haven't been announced. The facility is the first major sports and entertainment venue to open its doors in the Tri-state area in more than 25 years. And, in case that's not enough ribbon-cutting for the band, the members will jet to London June 24 to christen the stage of the new O2 arena. The show will be Bon Jovi's only UK appearance this year, and will mark the first time in 15 years that the band has played an indoor gig there.

May 2007
26 - Las Vegas, NV - Mandalay Bay Resort

July 2007
5 - Milwaukee, WI - Summerfest
7 - East Rutherford, NJ - Giants Stadium (Live Earth)
11 - Calgary, Alberta - Pengrowth Saddledome
20 - Cheyenne, WY - Cheyenne Frontier Days
21 - Eau Claire, WI - Country Jam USA

I like when Ryan Seascrest asked Jon if it were OK to put the tour dates on their website. hihi

Did u see the way Jon looked at him?

Bon jovi sell every single show out and don't need American Idol for that.

Jon agreed to AI to expose Bon Jovi to a younger audience and no other reason.

Yeah but to get exposed to 30 million people and a new younger audience isnt necessarily a bad thing.
