Yeah, such a shame, I was a pretty big fan of them too.
They put out such great music, Keep The Faith was brilliant, and even These Days had some great moments on it, but the band seems more concerend about money than anything else these days, cause that is what is obviously keeping them from comng here.

Look at Guns - no new album in 14 years (16 not including TSI) and they're still touring here!

If Bon Jovi are concerned about not selling enough tickets here, that wouldn't leave much hope for many other bands, considering how 'big' they supposedly are.

I have lost a lot of my interest in Bon Jovi. There was a time when I followed them as closely as GN'R, a time when I lined up for them at 6am and stood through acts such as Pink and Five to watch them play at a pop music festival because they didn't do their own tour.

Since These Days, they have not toured Australia properly once. They miss us every time. At the time it was said due to the costs involved and the poor Australian dollar.

We are missed every time. I don't know why, they have a big fan base here. Although I am sure many have lost interest like me because of their lack of touring to keep people hyped. Have a Nice Day (the album) didnt appear to do very well here, yet Crush and Bounce did alright. People seem to have lost interest.

They hoar out their merchandise like there is no tomorrow. I get emails from bonjovi.com 'get your special framed slippery poster for $250' etc. constantly. I just get disappointed when I see Jon as the face of mens perfumes here at department stores, and get these emails but never get a chance to actually hear the rock I grew up listening to.

That and the fact they seem to have gone country just turns me off taking an interest anymore. I haven't heard the new stuff there so I could be wrong. They seem to be interested in making the albums and some cash and doing the big things like being the first band to peform here and there and doing the Giant Stadium shows and showing people 'how big they are'.

I'm just very disappointed.

jon and richie have had cuddly toys made of themselves by a famous toy brand,, cheese.

I dont know, I like the two new songs I've heard so far, Make A Memory and Lost Highway are awsome, I think they have a bit of a country sound but could still be rock if they chose not to promote it as country.

People still have the audacity to try and say KISS aren't an all time great band.

Fixed that for ya!

I agree with that also, Kiss are also one of the greatest bands of all time.

Kiss an all-time great band? i dont think so, i mean they have probably the best live act ever but as far as the quality of songs goes, they have less than a handful of great songs.  but sticking to bon jovi, i like what ive heard so far and think the new record is gonna be more successful than hand and bounce combined, mostly because they're opening up their market by putting MAM on country radio.

Bon Jovi, the greatest rock ?n? roll band in the world sold out their only UK date in ONE minute.

Tickets for Bon Jovi?s opening gig at The O2 arena this June went on sale at 9am this morning- thousands of fans jammed the phone line and internet to get their hands on the summer?s hottest ticket with all tickets being snapped up within a minute.

Bon Jovi, who sold over 300,000 tickets and 6 stadiums at their British shows last year, will be appearing at The O2 on Sunday 24th June. It will be the first time in 15 years that Jovi have played indoors.

Richie Sambora's father died last night, after a long battle against cancer.

Apparently he was seriously hill (stage 4 of the disease) back in 2006, during the Have A Nice Day tour. That's the reason why Sambora didn't look very happy during some UK shows Cry

This guy had some serious bad time the last two years. Broken shoulder, divorce, legal battles for his daughter's custody, and then this.

Still, they played all their shows for that tour. I remember pics of Sambora playing while he was still in recovery.

My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Ok, thankx ok

Well, that's Sambora's figure, by McFarlane.

And I'll just quote myself in case people have missed the other info.

It has been confirmed by the Record Company that the band will tape an Unplugged session for MTV, VH1 and CMT on June 6th, in NYC !

That's a great news yes

Also, they will be playing in Puerto Rico two days later.
