Any word what the next single is going to be? I think Complicated would do well on the radio.

Who Says You Can't Go Home is a really good, listenable song but I dont think its radio material. I could be proven wrong. I still say Complicated would have been a better radio song.

D, are you going to see them?

Finally listened to the new album.

Firstly i would say it's nothing new or innovative if you already hated the band before this then you still will after this.  If you hated there last 2 efforts then you may struggle to enjoy this album although it is definately an improvement.  If i was to compare this to past efforts by the band i would say that it is like Crush crossed with These Days.  It still has that very very pop edge found on Crush more than any other album by them (let's face it they all have a pop feel going on) and has the more of the mature feeling that was found on the great These Days album.  This is not an all-out pop album it is pop/rock the thing this band has always been and always will be, there may be a little less rock but it's still there.  Track-wise i enjoy every last one of the fuckers, they all have the good hooks that are as standard with any Bon Jovi album, you have the as-to-be expected ballads and some decent rockers in there (that most people would rather pretend did not exist as they don't want to admit this band can rock....).  On the rockers side of things i am a big fan of Last Cigarette & Unbreakable.  Success-wise for the next single i think Who Says You Can't Go Home is the better choice as far as sales are concerned although i prefer Complicated, Who Says You Can't Go Home get's a tad repetitive it's still cool though i think it's one of the weaker tracks, just my view.....

All-in-all a decent album ok

Richie Sambora has sliced his fingers on his guitar strings during the second sold-out show the band have played at the Madison Square Garden, NY.? Shocked

Though he has finished the set, but I think in pain Cool No changes needed for the next dates, the Tour is groing strong everyday, with new US & European dates added. peace

Ouch, I saw them last Friday in Philly and they were fucking awesome.  Maybe the best show I've seen this year.  They did a great job mixing the old stuf with the new.  Everybody sounded great, and the stage show was top notch.  It was good to finally see them.  My only regret is I wasn't able to see them in Jersey.

Greetings BON JOVI fans. Last night, Thursday, DECEMBER 22nd, the first leg of the HAVE A NICE DAY TOUR came to a close at the third of three sold-out homecoming shows at New Jersey's Continental Airlines Arena. Here was the set list - so much fun for those who were there - it was one big holiday party!

LAST MAN STANDING (Jon kicked off the show from the Front of House riser)
YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME
COMPLICATED
BORN TO BE MY BABY
STORY OF MY LIFE
I'LL SLEEP WHEN I'M DEAD
RUNAWAY
THE RADIO SAVED MY LIFE TONIGHT
JUST OLDER
I GOT THE GIRL
HAVE A NICE DAY
WHO SAYS YOU CAN'T GO HOME
IT'S MY LIFE
I'LL BE THERE FOR YOU (acoustic - Jon & Richie sharing the vocals)
BLAZE OF GLORY (acoustic - Jon sang from amidst the crowd)
BED OF ROSES (acoustic - with Jon heading from the crowds back to the stage)
CAPTAIN CRASH & THE BEAUTY QUEEN FROM MARS
GOOD LOVE (Young Rascals cover)
BAD MEDICINE
RAISE YOUR HANDS
LIVIN' ON A PRAYER

encore:
WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE
LAST CIGARETTE
TREAT HER RIGHT
BLOOD ON BLOOD
KEEP THE FAITH
I WISH EVERYDAY COULD BE LIKE CHRISTMAS
WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE (featuring Richie on lead vox for the 2nd verse)

The show was a big party. The band members had family and friends with them enjoying the last night of the run and the start of the holidays. Longtime friend and collaborator Desmond Child was on hand. So was WMMR's legendary DJ and longtime friend of the band Pierre Robert rocking out in the crowd. And John Shanks - who co-wrote and co-produced much of the Have A Nice Day album - was there for the festivities as well. The band had a great time. They hope everyone there had a great time as well.

And if you were leaving the Continental Airlines Arena, the band had a holiday greeting for fans. Did you see it on the sign outside as you drove away? SEE YOU NEXT SUMMER.

Finally, THANK YOU to everyone to participated in the BON JOVI HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE. The amount of food that was donated by Bon Jovi fans who attended the 3 shows at CAA was staggering. Each night was a bountiful amount of donations going to great causes (Monday's food went to Lunchbreak in Red Bank; Wednesday's donations went to St. Mark's Soup Kitchen in Keansburg; Thursday's donations went to St. John's Soup Kitchen in Newark.) Thank you to the Bon Jovi fans who were so generous with their donations but also in their spirit. You made a big difference to a lot of people this holiday season. We hope to see more of these types of drives in the future.

So, from everyone here at www.bonjovi.com to you and yours, have a very happy holiday - whichever one(s) you celebrate - and here's wishing you the best of New Years. 2006 is going to be even better than 2005! HAVE A NICE HOLIDAY!
