I saw Bon Jovi on Saturday.  Good show.  The classics were fantastic.  I thought Richie did a real stellar job.  Not a fan of the new stuff though, some of the songs I could tolerate, but what are you gonna do.  Overall, a good show.

JON BON JOVI has alledgedly admitted he used to be a drug dealer. The BON JOVI frontman confessed he bought and sold marijuana while he was a struggling teenager growing up in New Jersey. He said: "I did the drug thing very young and wised up very young too, because I was into drugs a little too much. I was entrepreneurial even then, buying quarter pounds of dope and trying to make a couple of bucks." The singer said a bad experience with illegal substances at an early age stopped him from becoming a user when he eventually found fame and fortune. The father-of-four said: "Did you ever smoke dope that was laced with PCP (phencyclidine) and then have that whole summer of hallucinations? It was f**king awful. That's why I've never been a drug guy. I always felt I didn't have the mental stability."

Oooooo, he's such a rebel  Cheesy Tongue

I just came across this thread, didn't get a chance to read everything, so I hope I'm not off topic, but...
Does anyone here know if Bon jovi will be releasing an 'Unplugged' album sometime? Cause I remember this past summer they did MTV Unplugged, I remember watching it, I really liked it. I was hoping it would be released on cd sometime. Was there any mention of that, does anyone know? Once again sorry this is off topic.

just got bon jovi tickets for edmonton again!  was up late with my credit card beside me, but i got a great deal on them, row 13 on the floor (again).  i really hope they play Summertime and Keep the Faith.  They didn't play either of those last time they were here so I hope they do this time.  As for the new stuff I love it, not sure why people don't like it.  Im slowly getting into country thanks to Bon Jovi, now listening to Keith Urban.  If you don't wanna support the new modern rock crap and whatever else, go to country!

They won't release the MTV unplugged Wink

Next step is a DVD where they are playing the whole Lost Highway album, song by song, with classics added to the set.

To each his own.  Not ready to make that splash into the world of country.  I actually think I'd like the new album if I gave it a fair chance, I really don't mind some of the songs.  But I'm just not willing to do that at this point.

I've got a ? about Bon Jovi.  How come "Lost Highway" is the current single?  Wasn't that the lead single before "You Want To Make A Memory"?  It was on that Wild Hogs soundtrack.  I thought that was the first single, yet it's on the VH1 countdown and whatnot.  What am I missing here?

From CB Music... hihi

Jon Bon Governor
By Mack Rawden: 2007-11-14 16:09:02

Jon Bon Governor Aging pretty boy Jon Bon Jovi is contemplating a run at the New Jersey governorship. The forty-five year old, an outspoken Democrat, has hired PR specialist Ken Sunshine, the puppet master behind former New York City mayor David Dinkins. The frontman is also hanging onto his New Jersey home in order to comply with residential restrictions.

According to Music News, a potential run might not take place for a few years, but the political aspirations are definitely there. Thank God I don?t live in Jersey. I?m not sure I could handle Fireside Chats from the same dude who once crooned about giving love a bad name. Here?s to hoping this campaigning doesn?t inspire other musicians to run for office. I?m not sure I can deal with an Axl Rose congressional bid or Ringo Starr sitting on my local school board.
