sweet.  what was he saying at the end of that one?

don't know if this is up here already, but its jungle from the st. louis riot show.  axl tells a story while slash "finds some shoes."  then he comes out and fucks up the intro and plays extra sloppy (not in the good way-- stops playing during the bridge to catch a fucking beach ball).  perhaps his shoes were in a big pile of coke.  could this have contributed to axl's state of mind before getting so pissed about the security?

That WTTJ is about as much proof as you need regarding how BAD the old band could be live. Awful. ok

That is a terrible performance of Jungle. A lot of people say they think St Louis was a great show (before the riot obviously) but I think it sucks, Slash is clearly hammered and has trouble even playing at times in that show, theres much better old GNR shows.

that was very cool to watch....considering I was front row right infront of Slash!

Good Memories...I threw a dozen roses on the stage and Axl picked them up and smiled and put them on an amp........I was 21.....

Hope this isn't too OT, but here is Duff, Matt, Teddy Andreadis, Iggy Pop and Steve Jones playing Raw Power.? For further info on this show check out my post on the GNR Covering Sex Pistols thread.

Bang Bang

(Nice shot) Wink

You know I have this concert on VHS, but it's at my father's house. I've haven't been home in few years but the next time I'll have collect my tapes, I have a lot of old Gun's stuff there.

It was aired on Much Music back in Jan or Feb of 1994, I remember watching it and then taping it when they re-aired it.

This was the grand opening of the Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas. But on my tape I don't have the " Be your Dog performance", so that was cool to see.

Man you should see Matt, Duff, Steve and Seal do Hey Joe and Manic Despression, they killed it.

This show was the inital forming of The Neurotic Outsiders. Duran Duran were on the bill, that's when boys meet John Taylor. I remember Sheryl Corw performing that night as well. God I have to dig out thoses tapes, I've got really old interviews with Slash, Duff, and I might even have to one Matt did with the power 30.

Thanks for the link,

DH

She was Sheryl Crow and I think she took a big challenge for covering that and it turned out to be quite good. so all the credit for Sheryl!
