I love this clip. Most of the fans sucked ata this concert ("buuuh" "we want slash" pissed bottles and so on), so Axl just stood there and sang without moving. i just LOVE it: him standing there with his crossed legs and just looking. if youre a shitty audience, youll get a shitty show.  yeah it rocks.. im glad axl did that.. still a good performance! i knew tommy threw the bass, but damn.. go to 5:48.. he fucking LAUNCHED that shit! You know, I think that was Axl's strongest vocal performance of the whole tour (up until Nightrain @ Rock Am Ring). It shows he can sing like a madman when he stands still and doesn't drain his energy. I imagine he sounds similar in the studio since he isn't jogging across the stage all the time. I mean, he had a lot of power in his voice when he sang that. |
