Skinflick, just to clarify, I thought the performances of the new songs at Rio2001-chinese, maddy, and the Blues were what was killer. Raw energy. The tempo of the songs is quicker. I enjoy those three versions of those songs better than ANY of the new versions from 2002 or 2006. The rest of Rio is ok. The crowd made that show. Incredible energy from those nutty Brazilians! hihi

If someone has posted this video already - then I am sorry - but this is perhaps the most amazing live performance I've ever seen them do

It is possibly my favorite song also, and just watching this I cannot understand how the new band, at least, hasn't made this a staple in their set -
Especially since the old band never really played it live -

Fuck it - either way - enjoy

Yeah, the energy was amazing but the sound was awful....I hated it...I was really bummed when I saw it since it was the first time I saw any live footage since 1993 in Argentina...the last show where they sounded AMAZING. They sound MUCH better now then they did at anytime during RR3...
