Ron doesn't have the speed, precision, or melody that Bucket has. I think that Ron is a nice guy but I don't enjoy his playing. Bucket blew me away in 2002 in Tacoma, and Ron was a dissapointment when I saw him opening night at The Hammerstein.

Axl Rose and West Arkeen in a bar playing a bit of Yesterdays in 1989. Dont know if it's been posted but it seems pretty rare to me. By the way, West fucks up the song a bit by his guitar playing so Axl wants to sing another tune instead. Anyone knows if there is more footage from this session??

After I watched that Buckethead clip, I went and watched like 6 more of him.... he never ceases to amaze me. Sad how both Buckethead+Slash are not in the band. We've lost out on not just one great guitarest, but most likely now too. I hope to God Bh's work is still on C.D when it comes out.

I'd also love to see BH tour with Gnr again sometime, even if it is just like a 13 show gig, but it seems a couple band members really don't like him.  no

Holy shit I just watched 'Night Of The Slunk'. Thanks! Fuck, Bucket is amazing. I hope he wrote a few songs in GNR. Im sure he did, but we haven't really heard Bucket's contributions besides some solos:

IRS - written before Buckethead was in the band.
Better - Axl says its a Robin song.
There Was A Time - written before Buckethead was in the band: but he added some great leads.
Catcher In The Rye - written before he was in the band.
Chinese Democracy - written before he was in the band. Riff was composed by drummer, Josh Freese.
The Blues - I cant remember, but I dont think he even played on this song.
Madagascar - apparently this is a Chris Pitman song. Bucket's leads seem to be replaced with Richards.

Wow, could you imagine Axl singing over a riff like 'Night of the Slunk'? I hope the other guitarists didn't hold Bucket back, when he was writing for Axl.

Shocked I think i will be buying some his albums. Dammit, Axl you should have offered him more money or action figures!
Wow, I cant wait to see what he did on CD- Hopefully he is just as amazing. None of his stuff from the songs we heard o far do him justice.

Hopefully Axl's been collecting rare action figures in Europe to get Bucket back. I think Axl sent Brain, with the Action figures, to try and get Bucket back. It's just like the A-Team. Hannibal has sent Face to break Murdoch out of the Insane Asylum. In all seriousness, if Buckets going to be on the album, I think there's a chance he'll come back to play the songs he helped create live.

Some very emotional playing there!!!  It was beautiful!  Some of it even sounded like some shit Slash would play, it was like it came from the heart of a shredder, a deadly combo....when a virtuoso plays with emotion at this...  Wow... Long live the Bucket!
