Anybody else think that something big is about to break?  The X Factor is the worlds biggest franchise in entertainment at the moment, I can't believe that Axl let that nugget be associated with a show like this without a plan "B" connected to it.  I'm not thinking "CD world tour" but something completely different, the RIR thing, the Ashba comments and the settlement with Azoff, seem to point to new music.

This would be promotion gold for the band, who knows may even play a new song due for release. Of course this isn't fact, but the "settlement" could be viewed as a reasonable business deal that both Azoff and Axl could both benefit from. Azoff would certainly be on Cowells radar, and Axl has the pulling power to command a premier slot on a show such as the X Factor. Its no secret many shows would love to have Axl do an episode, the X Factor certainly has the budget to pay the premium Axl would want. If Azoff is still involved, as some people have suggested, he'd certainly would be looking to ensure that he'd not be looking at a reunion as his major money spinning venture after the last foray in this matter. This is probably the next biggest (part of a bigger picture) opportunity to do something that will get the band re-introduced to the public at large.

Wow, I am imagining Axl backstage just f'n beaming - maybe even a tear in his eye - listening to that (from a non-english speaking audience) gave me chills.
