I wouldn't call it pro shot, more like a good 3-4 cam fan made mix.

Still a nice find.  ok

To be that close, you are NOT making that kind of video with digital cameras and shit. It's heavy duty equipment.

Anyone remember this kinda pro-shot stuff being used before? I can only think of Rock Am Ring where it was broadcast, and that's certainly not that show.

Looks pro-shot to me...

Heavy equipment yes, but a few angles of this look like it's been recorded from the crowd. Maybe it's 1 or 2 small clips of pro shot video combined with a lot of audience recorded material.

That my friend IS pro shot, how else would there be video from behind the drum riser and band members. Also you can tell alot of the video is recorded from the camera crew who are at the front at every show.

I'm dissapointed this was moved as this is the first Pro-shot, made by the bands own cameras since the 90's. This is really rare, and was obviously intended to be on gunsnroses.com but plans might have changed since merck parted ways with GN'R.

This is the first pro-shot filmed by GN'Rs own cameras ever, since the Nu GN'R era, and also since the 90's.

I hope this don't get buried because I know alot of fans would love to watch this, let's hope people find it while it's here on the recent pages.  Tongue

Sorry dude, but it's all pro-shot - there's no fan footage.

to be fair we have to add that the center crowd angle is looking some amateur: shaky and with lots of heads in front of the lens.

Yes I can see that, but who knows maybe GN'R planted a filmer in the crowd to give the video a live feel. Other than that, if they did use a few secs of amateur footage you feel that they would have needed to contact the filmer in question. But then again I feel they may have planted a filmer in the crowd, but make no mistake, this video is pro, 95% of the video is from GN'Rs own cameras. And the person who uploaded it is a director of some sort, plus he lists GN'R as one of his clients.

It really doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that this is professional and was maybe intended to be used on gunsnroses.com back in 2006.  ok

(the only amateur looking footage is that clip from behind the person, all the rest of the far clips were taken from the soundboard, so that is like only 5 secs of amatear footage, if indeed GN'R never planted the filmer of the 5 sec amatear clip.)

Also you can even watch the music video on his own site, so it's obvious it's his own professional work.  Smiley

GN'Rs first complete music video since the 90's, which was recorded from GN'Rs own crews cameras.  drool

Wasn't there a center angle at RAR 06 from way back like that which included a lot of the backs of peoples heads?

So is Major League Baseball.  They're still tied into the band's website right?

I came across this video that I have never seen before, it's definitely a pro shot video from the 2006 tour. You can tell it's pro as the camera is often behind band members, at points of the video. As well as other scenes where you can tell it's GN'Rs camera crew at the front of the stage.

It's definitely from 2006, but I'm not sure which show (seems like the US leg though). The audio also sounds mixed and again it's from 2006, not the original album version.

So was this an unused clip from gunsnroses.com?, it shows the website name during the end of the video. This has to be official you would feel, it's professional with GN'Rs personal camera crews work, you can tell by the angles and quality.

Also the person who uploaded this does not upload GN'R videos in general, but trailers from films and other clips (not GN'R). So this adds to the thoery that it is indeed official and it was unused and somehow this person has got hold of it.

jarmo, I know this belongs in the download section. But hope you will keep it here, as this is rare and alot of fans aren't aware of this pro shot from the 2006 tour.

It's a recording someone did of the video screens, not truly "pro-shot".

Great recording though!

Yeah that's the Osaka video recording, and it's so good that alot people thought it was an actual release of somekind, when it first surfaced. But Cotis is right, it was shot from the big screen, so I feel a big thank you is in order for the individual who sat through the whole show taping.  ok

The quality I posted up was so good I wouldn't have believed that it was taken from a screen, but that Sorry vid showed that the focus on them screens were so sharp, good find.
