I heard these guys http://oompahbrass.com/Shop.html on the TalkSport radio show last night, they were an amazing act. Do you notice what the third album is called They played PC on the show and it was pretty neat, ok its not rock n roll but that's not their point, if I come across them busking, I'd sling 'em a few quid. This version of SCoM kind of sucks more because of the singing http://www.youtube.com/user/OompahBrass?feature=mhw5#p/c/19BEA11F77F60EE0/7/ABtPvd_2rFI h I kinda respect these guys 'cos they are putting themselves forward to do something different, as they said last nite, great songs are the one's they like doing and spend the time rewriting the score to get it to work in brass. Okay, not a serious threat to Axl and the band, but I kinda think that they'd enjoy bumping into 'em just the same... |
