This is GN'R at the 2002 VMAs.

Apart from being in HD, this version has different camera angles that accur at different times. It's more noticable during Paradise City. I feel this was an amazing performance, and seeing it with different angles now and then makes it more special, and it feels new.

I can't... I can't sit through it. I just tried again with your link but I just fucking can't make it more then a minute after Axl's initial bad fucking ass scream (that completely rules). I fucking love Axl and GN'R and I always will but this is ... this... this was all just a bad bad dream. Huge setback too. Obviously everything worked out alright and we got Chinese Democracy and it is a masterpiece but, this was a really bad time for GN'R and Its too bad I don't have a time machine. I would use it to go back to this night in 2002 and stop Axl somehow from doin this show.

I never got all the hate for the VMA show, I thought it was amazing.

I think Jungle was brilliant, and it was understandable Axl was abit out of breath. Since he did that scream, and then he was running across the stage whilst still dancing. Then Madagascar was the best vocal performance of the song in many peoples view. Then Paradise rocked like usual, so I don't see the big problem people have with it.  Wink

But you should watch it all, during Paradise City, the camera angles are really different, looks awesome. You also see Tommy walk off the stage which also wasn't in the other version.

I still get shivers watching that VMA performance. Considering the circumstances we've since learned about this performance, it's a pretty good one in my opinion.
