Mods, why was my post about Slash's response to Paradise City being used in the advert deleted?

I posted it, because I sent him a message on Twitter, and he was kind enough to reply to me - so I shared it.

Seriously, what did I do wrong?

He's not in GN'R.

When did that happen???

So I take it you'll be removing the youtube link to the advert in question too then, as I see it's still there.

And there's no need to be so patronising with the "he's not in GnR" thing - I'm sure you know, as do I - that he was one of the main writers of that song, so his opinion (which I got directly) on it being used in a god-awful butter commercial is surely something that is worthy of debate on a forum that talks endlessly about the songs that he had a part in writing?

Well, since he's not in GN'R, whatever he says goes in the section dedicated to his career.

Fair enough.

Will you be moving my comment with the Slash quote, with the youtube video links with other people's comments to the relevant section then? *edit* I should've added - or should I start a topic in the right section?

You're free to post a new topic in the correct section if you want to discuss the matter.

People who only want to discuss the clip, can continue doing so here.

What's really a shame is that none of the 2009-2010 shows so far have been broadcast on television, giving us fans a pro-shot. At least in the past there's always been at least one South American show and one European Summer Festival show that was broadcast by some television station and ended up circulating as a pro-shot (with the exception of 2002, the best bootleg from that era is the Boston multicam mix aud-shot with soundboard audio). Oh well, will have to settle for Osaka '09 and Lima, Peru '10 until something better comes along...

Actually, even as recently as 2006, there were pro-shots available from tv broadcasts of RIR Lisboa and Rock Am Ring...

Uh, I didn't like it that much. One of the guitars was out of tune... The performance wasn't their best and the drums were cheesy. Duff's bass lick was amazing, tho.

You are both wrong. This is fucking great. Pure Class and Henley playing the drums here just makes this really cool. Good memory thanks.
