Just great. I hope the people who were there understand how lucky they were. Small venue, accoustic set, long set.

Yeah, he's ducking a couple of the higher notes. Pretty understandable - it's a very demanding set for a singer.

His high range isn't quite as under control as it was a couple of years ago, but that has probably has more to do with pleasing his silly fans who want more "rasp."

Yeah, it sounds good - he hits the high note in the last line, which I think is a nice contrast.

Haha, so true!

The first time I've seen him doing this way was here in S?o Paulo, but maybe he did that on the Brasilia show before.

I agree with what you said there !! Kinda like in 06-07 ,IRS,Nightrain,Brownstone performances/high notes had a little more power behind it!
but if thats the case with his high notes, why does Rocket Queen and Street of Dreams sound Fucking amazing this tour!! he hits them notes almost perfect every time this year!?? ok
Do you guys think so?  I also think Axl might not have been able to pull off "if the world" and "This I Love" in 06 either !!  but thats the beauty of Axl, he always has the vintage Mr. Rose up his sleeve smoking
thoughts Huh

I think he could have pulled those songs off in 06 or 07, with less effort. To be clear, I think his voice is fine right now - I'm not trying to be critical - but he's definitely pushing harder for high notes. Not so much at the beginning of the tour - he was nailing the end of There Was A Time, which might be the highest thing he's ever sung (I haven't checked the notes) - but I'd say whatever illness he had at the beginning of the South American tour is probably taking a toll.

Ya im with ya on the Illness before south America!!  But IMO i feel that Axl has more confidence with pushing his High Range, but sometimes it sounds like he is gassed, but i feel he sounds excellent this tour as well as everyone in GnR!!!  so now Axl and the boys announce some U.S. Dates Smiley im ready to spend some money  peace

Those are some killer performances!  Can't wait to hear it for myself live.

I think that Better might have had more mass appeal if Axl had sung the bridge like that on the CD.  All the non die-hards I've played that song for have almost all said that they didn't like the "screaming" in the middle of the song.

I know what you mean. I am sick of these lame bootlegs. I would rather get nothing then some of the crap we have seen this time around.
