This is Welcome To The Jungle from Toronto 2010, Jan 28th at the Air Canada Centre. This is not my Video but it has really good video and sound, plus its from a really good angle.

I always admire how the new band plays the breakdown just after Bumbles solo (the 2nd solo), and they have to improvise as to when to start the power chords as Axl sings " You're gonna die ". The old band played the standard version on the CD, which sometimes led to Axl rushing the line and making it just in time.

The new band have to all guess when to go for the change, check it out in the video between 4.40 and 5.08.  Cool

'This I Love' - Quebec City 2010

At one point during the song, Axl appears to look straight at the camera. Fine performance too.   Smiley

HA! Ashba fuckin' nailed this one. Good job white boy! He's getting better and better, as I expected. Axl's performances are really good... he needed to rehearse this song before because his performances on the asian leg of the tour weren't as good... not even close to be honest.

I agree too - improv like that is what makes a band. I don't get why anyone would think that was a bad thing? Unless I've missed the guys point??
I always want to see something more than just the cd rendition when I go to a live show...

i'm not being ultra negative.........not at all....

An analogy could be a drummer playing a build up in a song, and playing it different everytime, without locking in with others, without saying before....it makes things tricky..........regardless of experience or rapport (before someone says).....idk, i just think it makes it unpredictable for the other guys and they must be looking at eachother going......"um.......?" which ain't really fair.

What the hells up with you?, I was just pointing out how I like the new band giving Axl more time before he has to say " You know where you are ". If you look at most bootlegs from 91-93, even the Ritz in 88, Axl has to rush to start that line, otherwise he'll miss it completely because the old band always played without no extended bridge. I think almost every GN'R fan has recognised that. But the new band have to guess when all to go for the change into the power chords, which I think shows their musicianship.

But lets not turn this into a debate, this a is a youtube thread, and I was just pointing out something related to a video, so peace.  ok

Axl does look like he's actually glowing in that one clip! It's great to read all the positive comments on the new youtube clips. There are still some "this isn't guns n' roses..." idiots, but there are FAR more positive comments than there were in 06-07. Axl and the band do sound better, but anyone who was fortunate to catch a show this time around will tell you that these clips -- even the good ones -- do not do the band justice (Keep 'em coming, though!) If you like what you see on youtube, you GOTTA get to a show. i think anyone who likes live music needs to see this band in concert. As far as the improvisation goes, i love seeing that when i go to a show. i don't like feeling like i'm just listening to a cd. But in order to pull off the improv and still sound good, you need to have a bunch of awesome musicians. And that's what we have in GnFnR, baby!!!

That backstage footage is awesome! And yes, a GnR documentary/concert film would kick ass!

Check this video out of Dizzy playing Ziggy Stardust on acoustic guitar while singing as well at NAMM 2009. After seeing Dizzy play this many times during his solo spot on piano, it's interesting to see him interpreting it in a different way. I think Dizzy has a brilliant voice which also reminds me of Chris Pitmans.  Cool
