Why does Axl say "Play it White Boy" at the start of the Guitar Solo? I know Axl is just having fun, and its part of his on stage humor. Sometimes doing old school shitty DJ voices. But it pulls me out of the music. Especially here, during TIL. I fucking love Axl. The music, everything he has unknowingly done for me but, don't pull me out of the music. I love the music. I get taken into it it, and don't want to be ripped out of it.

Why does Axl say "Play it White Boy" at the start of the Guitar Solo? I know Axl is just having fun, and its part of his on stage humor. Sometimes doing old school shitty DJ voices. But it pulls me out of the music. Especially here, during TIL. I fucking love Axl. The music, everything he has unknowingly done for me but, don't pull me out of the music. I love the music. I get taken into it it, and don't want to be ripped out of it.

For me personally, i love axl's little sayings, they send goosebumps down my spine, just before an awsome solo kicks in, he says a line, and it just triggers a feelin and makes a moment. not that the music isnt enough, but it just adds something to it for me.

IE, when they played WTTJ on 06 at hammersmith, just before the main riff kicked in, there was some drink spilt on stage and he was screamin, then stopped and said "clean that shit up" then the riff kicked in, its was insane and set the tone for the show

I guess its personal at the end of the day, i guess with a hyper song like WTTJ it fits very well, but maybe for some people with slower songs like TIL it doesnt fit or make sense to them each to their own
