Thorazine, if you have Itunes, download the Perfect tracks 7 Days a Week, Alternative Monkey, Better Days. Also search for Bash & Pop songs Loose Ends and Tiny Pieces. All GREAT songs.

I gotta figure this has been posted by somebody here at some point but after doing a quick search just now I didn't find it.  It's Tom Petty and Axl doing "Free Fallin" at the '89 VMA's.  I can still remember this like it was yesterday (though I was pretty young at the time).  Very cool....  Smiley

but it must be the first time civil war was played during farm aid, during the 1st GULF WAR.

Liste n to how raw and powerful is was , much more like appetite. When Axl got it back in the studio he really sharpened his delivery of the lyrics. in this Civil War it sounds ruff, gutsy n raw just like appetite. Ive heard it b4 but never noticed the different style axl had between albums, early he would scream something out with raw emotion and in the final mixed version he controlled his grow n screams and used them to follow the music, not just get that scream of frustration at everthing ya singing about.

its a great version. fuck, im stoned, i take every drug but weed but  i smoked a bong now im  studying the manner civil war was altered between 88 and 92. bent moron i am
