Gn'R didn't make this list? How the hell did November Rain not make it? That was a huge song and video back then. That completely blows my mind that it didn't make the top 100 list. Usually they make it on lists like this. Just very surprising.

This is total and utter b.s. I voted for that song over 1,000 times. You can't tell me with that many votes that I couldn't have singlehandedly gotten that song on to the top 100. I think there is a conspiracy going on.

I can understand not being a fan of GN'R, but seriously. There are 100 songs
legitimately
better than November Rain?
Not if the list includes Achy Breaky Heart.

Apparently, the list was fan by fan-polling online, but I fail to believe that the vast majority of the songs on this list had more votes than 'November Rain' did. It had to be EASILY top 5. #1 was 'Smells like Teen Spirit', #2 was "One", and # 3 was "I Want It That Way" by Back Street Boys?!? I can see 1 and 2, but c'mon...

Sorry dude. "Mmm Bop" was a smash and deserves to be on the list. It should actually be higher than 20, but I like everyone else here am flabergasted that "November Rain" didn't make the top 100. Especially when songs like The Presidents of the United States of America's "Peaches" and Fastball's "The Way" are on there. And if I'm not mistaken "Ice Ice Baby is one of the... if not THE highest selling rap song of all time. Should be higher than 29. The list is a joke and just shows that the people who run things over there are idiots. I get that people voted on songs, but these are obvios errors that needed to be addressed.

Anyone who actually takes VH1 or MTV seriously these days has bigger problems than GN'R not making a worthless list.

I would've thought "november rain" would've made the list.... it is bullshit.
also silverchair's "tomorrow" should've made the list.... it was the #1 most played song in modern rock in 1995... and that's not an achievement?
and radiohead's "karma police"....
i can come up with 300 other songs that are much better than the shit they posted....

I remember back in 98 or 99, MTV aired it's last top 100 videos show....which was the top 100 videos of the '90's and November Rain was #1....with Smells Like Teen Spirit at #2.
Whoever was in charge of this Vh1 top 100 must have a vandetta against GNR or something. And Hanson's MMMbop at #20?? What a joke! That song would make it in my top 10 worst songs of all time.

The voting in the polls at VH1 account for absolutely nothing. It is a waste of time; corporate whores make the decisions there, e.g., The Dixie Chicks.

MTV sucks (what kind of a music television hardly ever shows any MUSIC videos!?), and we don't get VH1 where I live.
I'm not a big fan of top 100 lists of any kind. I just saw a top-something list of this year's biggest celebrity news and events etc, and there were just pictures of various female stars looking very pregnant and bloated. Yeah, that's BIG news! Nothing happened this year except that some people decided to have children (and then go swimming in a bikini to have their picture taken for the magazines)?!

VH1.com has a 101-150 list of songs that barely missed the top 100 and NR isn't even on that list either.
