Yeah since you'll be "lucky" if he earns that in the remainder of the game.  If memory serves me correct, last time Malcolm paid more points for Jericho than he ended up earning him.

Oh, and deadline on bids is something that I think needs to be changed for future games. The bidding should just continue until all but one have declared out, surely. I mean, if somebody can't get online at 3:55 (for those of us living in the right time zone, naturally) in the morning then they're going to lose out even though they may well have been willing to bid more than the other guy. Sure, you need restrictions in order to keep it at a fair pace; namely that you must increase by at least 1000 dollars/10 points each time and that if there is no return bid within 24 hours then whoever got in there last gets him. But this ain't ebay.

Well that bit is a rule, and the speed or lack of by some people means the bidding can't go on forever....

On the Big Show front, what do we have, 4 or 5 RAWs til Mania, a win on everyone = 60 and if he wins at Mania, (generally the celebs get the duke) then he's on for 80 points, but that's a lot of ifs and buts to maybe get, as it stands a 30 point profit, and over the course of time and considering all trades are being forsaken for him to, it's like, waaaay too much.

Alternatively, on the bidding front, how about if 48 hours go by without a bid the bidding ends?

I edited my post a bit here and there. I can't remember what was in the one that you would have read. But I wasn't suggesting that part as a rule, just saying that it needed to be there as all. At the end of the day, the guy should go to whoever is willing to pay the most, regardless of when they bid. As I say, maybe we should consider that if nobody returns with a counter bid within twenty four hours then the last geezer to bid gets the guy.
