But seriously, I'm not going to give you a history lesson on Dizzy. This is a GNR forum, you should be somewhat acquainted with him anyway. In short, he helped mature the GNR sound to great result.

axl did write them, yes. dizzy does a hell of a job playing what he wrote....

being a moral support and a close friend to axl + being a musical genious that's nothing, now that i think of it, what has dizzy ever done for GNR? well he have helped wrote classics/to-be-classics and? is one of the main reasons we have this band today still with us but raelly this is nothing.. damn he's so un-important

Actually I think I know quite a bit about GNR. Been frequenting GNR message boards and web sites since 96' when jeff boerio's lame site was the first to come up when you searched for guns n roses. He just seems like a very "overrated" member of GNR to me.  His solo stuff is so horrible.

I don't think he's overrated at all. I don't listen to his solo work but I still admire him as an artist & a band member of gnr. The guy didn't leave the band when everyone else did (so to speak).

Watch him play that keyboard... There's no way he could be considered overrated as an artist. Underrated is the word I would use.

The FUCK YEAH was aimed at the DIZZY/JIZZY tour... Not at the new myspace page.

I enjoy these "little" shows cause you can meet the artist and talk to them for a few moments...

Besides that, you can have lots of fun at these shows... You can even ask for a song and you might get to hear it...

How many people have had the chance to ask for a song at a GN'R gig?
