Not to be an asshole, cause you do sound like you probably could have a decent voice, but I think theres two major problems. The first is the trap most people fall into when covering anything-and this applies to people singing in their car to people playing a gig-and thats when you cover someones song you sing in their voice and not your own. Think of it like this....when GnR covered LALD or KOHD did it sound like Axl was doing an impression of Paul McCartney or Bob Dylan? You have to do it in your own voice otherwise it's not singing it's doing an impression. I would try it again, but sing it as Russian Roulette, not Axl. And def. lose all the moaning it sounds like you recorded it while you were taking a shit.

You have a good voice and I like the rasp, but the moaning after every sentence made me laugh.

I have to admit I always try to be kind of funny with these. I don't think I could be completely serious, I'd feel too exposed. The constant moanings etc. were intended to be kind of exaggerated Axlisms, I may re-record this at some point though in a more normal voice if you think it would sound OK. Thanks.
