What?s his story with Queens? I mean, he?s in then he?s out, his participation in the new album is very short.
True. I hope he'll "focus" on his solo career instead.....
The Screaming Trees collection is nice. If you like it, also check out "Sweet Oblivion" and "Dust" which are my favorite Trees albums.

Check out the Twilight Singers' "A Stitch In Time" EP on iTunes. Especially their cover of Massive Attack's "Live With Me" with Mark on vocals.
You'll enjoy that one... A lot!
Mark and Greg Dulli's project The Gutter Twins are also planning on releasing an album in 2007.

I gotta be in the mood to listen to lanegan but when I am in the mood, his music is incredible. It vibrates through me. I sit back and let my imagination take me away seeing some movie running through my mind about some wandering traveler going from town to town in some beat up old classic car chain smokin cigarettes stoppin at diners along the way meeting all different types of people. Like meeting people and hearing depressing shit about their lives.

Bad news boys
Tattoos, drugs, beatings, stalkers, prison, betrayal and years of making great music - could Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan be any more rock'n'roll? They talk to Paul Lester

Check out
http://www.myspace.com/soulsavers
The Soulsavers are to return with the new album "It's Not How Far You Fall, It's The Way You Land" This time round, Soulsavers have joined up with
Mark Lanegan
who provides vocals on 8 of the albums 11 tracks. The album also features cameo appearances by Will Oldham, PW Long & Jimi Goodwin(Doves). It's an eclectic recording, a unique mix of hip-hop, rock, country, soul & gospel. The album was recorded throughout 2005 & 2006, between the bands home base in the North of England, and Los Angeles. The record is due for release in March '07 on V2 Records.
Great!

Greg Dulli is my hero. Aside from GnR, Dulli's projects - The Afghan Whigs, Twilight Singers, Gutter Twins, etc. - are what consume most of my listening time. I'm so looking forward to the Gutter Twins album...
