Two new Soulsavers tracks.
One is a cover of Mark's song "Sunrise" and the other one is with Mark singing
Quote
The new album from Brit production duo Rich Machin and Ian Glover will be titled 'Broken' and follows 2007's 'It's Not How Far You Fall, It's The Way You Land', which also featured vocals from Mark Lanegan. It will be released on August 17.
On the album Jason Pierce duets with former Screaming Trees man Lanegan on 'Pharaoh's Chariot', while Richard Hawley provides backing vocals on 'Shadows Fall'.
Mike Patton appears on 'Unbalanced Pieces' and Gibby Haynes on 'Death Bells'.
Preceding the album release a seven-inch single, 'Sunrise', written by Lanegan and sung by Will Oldham, aka Bonnie Prince Billy, will be released.
The B-side will see Lanegan singing Oldham's song 'You Will Miss Me When I Burn'. A release date for the single has not be confirmed.

I've only heard a little Lanegan stuff. I heard a few songs off of Oblivion by the Screaming Trees, some of his QOTSA work, and a few songs from the Gutter Twins. He's pretty good, and I don't know why I haven't gotten around to buying a full album with him on it.

Got the album last week in London, but didn't have time to listen to it until this weekend.
It's quite amazing.

Bravo Jarmo! You have no insecurities in the new Man in Black!
Yes, I lied. That was such a great show, my first one at the Troubadour. I've been in nicer barns, but I digress...
He only played for 50 minutes or so, but he packed a lot of songs in there. He has an amazing band behind him.

I was not happy first time through, as I'm really not a fan of the whole drum machine sound.
After a few spins it's grown on me, though. Lyrics are good, and his voice just seems to get better as time goes on.
It's no Scraps at Midnight, but looking forward to hopefully catching it live. There's some live versions available here.
