Well, there are lots of good bands on there.

I dunno... I kind of like guns n' roses a tad bit better than zeppelin...

or rather, it depends on my mood. XDD

This is cool though.

No suprise at all.  That list is based on how many months the band has spend in the UK charts, and Led Zeppelin was always more popular in the US than the UK, wheras Gnr had/have a massive british following.  Also, Led Zep never released any singles here (aside form WLL in 97) wheras Gnr released lots, which helped a lot.

Overall I'd say I'm a bigger fan of GNR then Zep. Obviously there's alot less material to choose from, but I just like it better.

Kinda surprising that a band like Metallica, who many consider to be the biggest hard rock band on the planet, isn't listed.

Yet another reason why GN'R shouldn't be lumped together with any of those L.A. bands from the 80s. They're obviously above them all.

metallica is not a "singles" or "hits" type of band.

I know, but considering they also included album sales in those numbers and they do have albums out along with a quite big fan base.

It's based on UK sales.

So it doesn't matter how popular they're outside the UK....

19 (19) Phil Collins

ahhhh! Abba and Phill Collins so close of each other! It frightens me!  confused Although it would be worst if instead of Fleetwood Mac it was Celine Dion! Lol  hihi
