These fires are yearly, damn, i know it's their home, but one day, they won't be so lucky..

Actually, that house is still modern looking, it doesn"t seem to age like some do, it's a nice place by the looks of it.

Glad Axl, Beta, and their household members are okay....  Also glad Axl was able to help save his house.  It does suck that there was damage.  Now he's got to deal with his insurance company and I know from experience what a b*tch that is.  And hiring a private adjuster isn't the solution because they rip you off, too.  Most productive thing Axl can do is have someone he trusts in the construction business who knows their shit to assess the damage.  The insurance company's adjuster will always under-estimate and estimate the cheapest way to do things... cut corners and put things back sub-par.  Axl's house is an important asset of his and he sholdn't let them try to get over with half-ass repair/patch estimates or devalue his property due to the insurance company's not allowing enough $ in his claim to put things right.  It can take a long time to settle these claims if you gotta fight them trying to screw you...   I wish him the best and hope he has good people to work on this for him.

but 2 years ago,

during christmas time,
(caus its summer in australia in december)
there were some real bad fires in the blue mountains,
and I live about an hour away from the mountains, and there was ash and smoke in the sky and falling on the clothes on clotheslines and into the swimming pools of surrounding houses where I live,
and Thats over an hour from where the fires are,
not to mention the canberra fires we had a few years ago too,
its a tradition in australia , that every year, we have bad fires,
But thats only thanks to the bastards that get kicks out of actually lighting these fires, and if they get caught , they serve alot of time in jail (thank god)
