Fear Nothing is part 1 of a trilogy, the 2nd part is "Seize The Night" and the third and final book has been in the making for 8 years "sound like someone else u know"

Fear Nothing is interesting, not one Id recommend to a new reader those books are extremely loved or extremely hated.

If i had to recommend a book to someone who hasnt read much Koontz Id recommend Watchers,False Memory,Intensity or Lightning something like that.

Fear Nothing is told from Christopher Snow's point of view, its like a journal and he has a disease called XP which means he is allergic to the sun and can only go out at night.

Its a book about his adventures at night and the crazy shit that is going on in his town due to Gene altering type shit.

Its very interesting but u will want to read the 2nd book right after.

If u dont like it dont let it disuade u from Koontz, that series is the only books of his that are somewhat hit or miss.

Most Koontz books get u glued 10 pages in, this series takes a little longer to develop.


I am getting ready to start the uncut version of "The Stand" by Stephen King.



Timothy read Intensity when u get the chance, probably his greatest book, no lag at all in this book, the action start immediately and this book is so fuckin suspenseful its crazy, an ending u never see coming either.

I start reading Intensity last night ,before i know it I had read 200 pages.

There is a french slasher flick out right now called "High Tension" and it was rumored to be plagarized from Intensity as every scene is suppose to follow "Intensity" to the letter.

Im gonna go watch it and see for myself.

would be pretty shitty if a filmmaker ripped Koontz off.

ah right, i chose that one because of the blurb about the storyline...it had a scifi feel to it and thats what won over the others, i did see Insanity but it wasnt in paperback so i cant read it on the bus...ill see if i like this one, might get another i dont know...everybody seems to like Koontz so ill give it a go

reading the lord of the rings again, it's been 3 years since i read it. i still know everything
im at the moment where they left the elves in the shire and are close to cross the river with the little "boat" ...

from the point where they live bag-end to when they reach rivendell is best story ever
i like the rest of the book alot
but the 1st part is so .... so amazing,  so realistic and magical at the same time.
tom bombadil is amazing

If you like Fear Nothing, Seize the Night is the sequel and we are still waiting on the third book in the trilogy, we've been waiting for 8 years on it or so. I hope u like it. Its a very interesting book.

I read Deception Point by Dan Brown this weekend. Another brilliant effort. This guy is quickly shooting to the top of my favorite authors list. I have to thank Jessica for getting me interested in the DaVinci Code and therefor finding his other books.

I'm starting on Digital Fortress now, than its the waiting game for his next book

The Stand by Stephen King is hands down the greatest thing Ive ever read

I am 1000 pages in the book is 1153 and I dont want it to end.

after "The Stand" Im thinking of starting the Dark Tower series, I have the first 5 but I gotta find the other 2.

The ending to "The Stand" pissed me off somewhat, I liked Stu Redman and Frannie Goldsmith the least of the main characters but the true heroes got no credit at the end, Larry,Ralph,Glen or Tom Cullen were never mentioned once Stu got back.

I did like the commentary on how no matter what tragedies occur, the world always seems to fall back into the same ole bullshit that fucked it up to begin with.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Started off pretty slow and I thought it was going to be a big let down but the ending saved it big time. Not as good as "Order of the Phoenix" but it set up the final book rather nicely.

I'll be nice, for now, and not post who died.

After that I read Jose Canseco's Juiced, decent book then I read Stephen King Gerald's Game, very good book

then I read Bird Watching which is Larry Bird's autobiography and I read it in one night it was great



Right now I am reading Dolores Claiborne by Stephen King, over halfway through and it hasnt disappointed.
