Greg Iles's books. They're good but he's seems to fuck up the plot at the end always

started reading Dean Koontz's 'Velocity' while I was waiting on the line to the listening party today. Really good stuff. Kinda reminds of the movie Se7en. You get out of work to find a letter on your windshield saying if you don't take this note to the police and get them involved within 6 hours, a lovely blond schoolteacher will die. If you do, an elderly woman who's involved in charity work will die. What do you do? toss it away as a joke, of course. But the next day a lovely blond school teacher turns up beaten and choked to death by her own pantyhose. And sure enough, when you get out of work, there's another similar note, but this time the deadline's 5 hours. And so on and so forth. I'm really looking forward to getting through this book, i just need to find some time.
that sound really cool, i've been wanting to get into Koontz. i actually own Icebound, Lightning, and Life Expectancy.
tell us what u think of it when your done.

I just finished earlier today. I very much enjoyed the read. It was one of those books that I couldn't put down, despite the fact that I had it figured out by the first couple of chapters. For some reason I tend to be able to figure out these things pretty quick so I judge the books I read on how well they're written, how interesting the events that are unfolding are, and what the writer does to keep my attention. Velocity exceeded my expectations, especially toward the very end. I very much recommend you pick it up. It was only 8 bucks at the borders by my house and you'll be done with it in a day or two. It took me 4 because I'm a very slow reader due to my obsessive
need
to slowly read every sentence to make sure I catch every single little detail. I'm anal like that.
