Lemmy Kilminster - White Line Fever.

I love autobiographies and this is quite simply the best one i have ever read and im only half way through.

Did you know Lemmy once ate 50 pills when he was chased by the cops.

Also you can have your blood purified and he was looking into having this done.

The doctors would not let him have it done because "Normal" blood would have killed him and his blood would have killed another human instantly.

Rock and Fucking Roll!

Sebastian Haffner - Von Bismarck zu Hitler

besides Maryam Poya - Iran 1979

yesterday I read "Monsieur Ibrahim und die Blumen des Koran" (by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt) after I saw it in a small theater here in Cologne (Arcana Theater) with just two actors playing different roles - quite fascinating and amazingly directed.

I'm reading  Cradle and All by Zachary Alan Fox

I grabbed it off the bookmobile (traveling library van) in a rush.  So far, it's been ok.  Nothing outstanding.  It's a suspense type novel.  Is the mother crazy or is someone out to get her?

I'll find out soon enough, I suppose.   Cheesy

Samad Behrangi - Iranian Tales

Written in "children-style", but with political meanings, written for adults. For his works Behrangi got killed by the Schah-regime when he was 30 years old in 1968.

Why wouldn't it be decent?   nervous

Stephen King is my favorite author.  I have enjoyed almost all of the books he has written.  I will admit that he's had a few duds, though.  Pet Semetary wasn't one of them!   Grin

The book I'm reading right now is pure crap and not worth mentioning.  It was another "borrowed" book.  But, once I've started reading something I keep on until it's finished.   Sad

Why wouldn't it be decent?   nervous

Well.......I've just finished reading (meaning in the last few weeks) some "creme de la creme" Sci-Fi books.......one of the best Anne Rice books I have ever come across.........and the ILLIAD........

Pet Semetary is a "loner" I borrowed because I had nothing else to read..........and the first few pages seemed to be "a step down" from most books I read.......

Also I had gotten somewhat bad reviews of Kings' writing from a few ppl who's opinions I respect.......

But like I said it's "decent".............and I AM enjoying it... Smiley

So what have you read by him?
AND......is that why he's your "favorite author"?.......because you enjoy most of his books?
