I still can't imagine it coming out.. Never hear of videos being filmed or casting calls or whatever.. What new band tours a million years and never releases anything

There are no (or very very few) releases scheduled for November yet.  I wouldn't give up hope yet.

I'm really hoping with the clear schedule right now that something is brewing. Hopefully by end of the year the album will be out. If it doesn't come out by the end of NEXT year than the thing is never happening.

People have been talking bout this since '02 I have no hope in CD , I don't think it'll ever come out. I'm glad to know Axl and Co just wrapped a tour up , but CD to me is a lost cause.

Here's the deal: Chinese Democracy's never coming out. The original Guns are gonna get back together. Velvet Revolver's gonna part ways after this tour. Buckethead will always kick ass

It just might never come out, why is axl touring if he needs to get an album out, he already did his warm up tour in 02 then restarted in europe and nyc hammerstein a year later still going beating a dead horse.. WHo knows..

Even if it doesn't ever come out I don't care too much at this point. I'm still just psyched that Axl is otu and touring. Getting to finally see my favorite singer ever live last year was a pretty big thrill. It beats him being "the howard hughes of rock n roll". Obviously I want the album, but if it doesn't happen at least Axl is still around.

Do people even give a shit if CD ever comes out? Are we just happy to talk about the good old days and occasionally see the new GNR in concert without an album? How many of you guys have been driving Eddie Trunk nuts with constant questioning about CD?

Personally, I'm fine without it anymore. I think it's a shame that it's not been released, because I really like what I've heard of the new material. However, I can live without it. Libertad was good. Queens of the Stone Age continue to crank out pretty good stuff. Maybe we just don't need a new GNR cd. I've given up on a release date for CD.

So what do all of you think? Is CD a mute point (some songs are like 7 or 8 years old now)? Is it even worth releasing now? Are you still hoping for a release date?

I agree with you...If it comes out, cool, if not, it's what I have come to expect. The hype has died down for me over the past few years. The good old days will always be enough for me and are just that, the good days.

and if it doesn't come out make your own CHINESE DEMOCRACY by getting the live preformances or leaks put on your ipod or mp3 player. Thats what i'd do but i can't find the instructions

Here is what frustrates me. Try to talk about CD in the regular Guns forum on this site, and it either get deleted or moved over here to obscurity.

I'm sorry, but IMOHO, CD is something that can and should be discussed in the regular Guns forum.
